    I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is from location to service We stayed and had dinner in the restaurant The food was amazing Hostess Tamara and server Ryan made my birthday special and memorable MJ at the bar took care of me as wellAwesome place

    A nice hotel right on the Main Street of Stratford, with plenty of shopping and sightseeing nearby. The upper floor is simply a maze of stairs…definitely not recommended if you have any sort of mobility challenges.Hotel staff and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was above average, with reasonable prices. Hotel rooms were bright and airy with comfortable beds and pillows. The only negative on our visit was in the bathroom…Housekeeping staff need to take better care cleaning the toilets (!).

    It was great! Very comfortable room, the restaurant downstairs just amazing, very charming place to stay in this area. If I have to visit this area again, I will choose this hotel with no hesitation.

    Fantastic Time at The Mercer

    Loved, loved, loved The Mercer Hotel. Right downtown Stratford, but our room on the 3rd floor was very quiet. Spotlessly clean bathroom and room. Very comfortable bed, comforter, chairs and enjoyed the electric fireplace, which warmed up the room on the cold November nights. Big bar fridge, too. I requested 2 bathrobes and they were brought to our room very quickly - no extra fee. Serving staff at the hotel restaurant and bar were fantastic! Top marks to Emily, who was just the absolute best with her smile, knowledge of the menu and great service. My appetizer for dinner was the bok choy, mushrooms, tofu in a butter miso sauce and it was to die for - easily one of the best dishes I have ever tasted! The rest of the food we ate was also excellent. We would definitely book here again when visiting Stratford to see a play. Just be aware that there is no elevator and there are alot of stairs to walk up to the rooms - we knew this by checking out the website in advance - we did not mind the stairs with our luggage at all. Easy to park in the dedicated lot behind the the hotel and enter through the service entrance. Also, as guests of the hotel, we were given some vouchers for free mimosas, tea, coffee, juice when ordering breakfast at the restaurant, which was a nice perk!
