Location

The hotel has a lift and features 110 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Facility

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. In the evenings, guests can unwind to live music.

    The hotel room was clean with a very nice view. Service desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only issues I had with the the 2 night stay:1. The ad said that the rooms were sound proof - my room was adjoined with another door for a group stay, but I was there as a solo guest. I could hear my neighbors loud TV and talking. Hard to sleep in when you hear this. So much for a sound proof room.2. The hot tub jets on the first night weren't working ( that was rectified at the end of the evening). This was a big part of why I chose this hotel. 3. The hot tub itself, wasn't clean. Lots of foam, this is an indicator of mass bacteria growth. I was silly enough to sit in it for over 5 minutes as my muscles needed some heat. I ended up with rashes on my arms, and legs. The loud radio music while in the hot tub wasn't great either. Silence would be better. Also, over $400 for 2 nights as a solo person - also seemed a bit excessive in price.     Had a decent night’s sleep here. Room walls were a bit thin though as we sometimes heard our neighbours.Bathroom was clean with a fun modern toilet. Huge, comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Convenient downtown location, near Courthouse and shopping. Just a couple of minutes back to freeway and TCH.     Loved this hotel. Great amenities and kindly, front desk staff. Beautiful location, great views of the pond and Toto washlets. Great bed and shower as well. Would love to stay here again.     Mixed Experience for a Family & Pet-Friendly StayWe stayed here as a family attending a special event, and brought our pets along. I'd requested a ground-floor room to make it easier to take the dog outside (no dog loves an elevator, and frankly, elevator rides with a dog can be awkward). At check-in, we were told — with zero warmth — that our room was on the 3rd floor. When I mentioned my prior conversation with the booking agent, the front desk staff replied, “We don’t have rooms on the 1st floor. They start on the 3rd.” No empathy, no apology for the misinformation.Had I been told that upfront, I would’ve booked elsewhere. Accessibility matters, especially when travelling with animals.Safety was another issue. The window in my daughter’s room had no screen, and was left open by housekeeping. Her kitten fell from the ledge — thankfully survived after a vet visit, but what if it had been a child?The room’s Starbucks pods tasted more like dishwater than coffee. (On the bright side, the restaurant's Starbucks and overall food service were excellent!) However, the lobby’s water station was mostly dry the entire hot weekend. It shouldn’t be that hard to keep water flowing.Other disappointments:• The TV in our room never worked, and staff shrugged it off at checkout. “You should’ve called,” they said. At 11:30 PM and 6:30 AM? I’d rather not jump through hoops to watch a movie or catch the news.• The toilet/bidet setup felt more like a launch pad than a bathroom fixture — loud, vibrating, heated. A sleek, spa-like design would’ve been much more appealing.• The park and pond nearby, while scenic, was sadly filled with garbage and encampments.• The tired-looking lobby could really use a refresh.Credit where it’s due: The third-floor room attendant and our server at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. Their kindness stood out.With newer hotels popping up in Chilliwack, this place has work to do if it wants to stay competitive. Time to step up.
