    Great Bed, Lackluster Service for an Elite Member

    You can't fault the rooms at this hotel—they are very comfortable with super comfortable beds, perfect for any length of stay.The major letdown was the service, especially for a Best Western Elite member. Do not expect the usual welcome packet or a friendly greeting. The breakfast situation was particularly poor. The restaurant staff seemed visibly unhappy to be serving the complimentary breakfast, making what should be a nice perk feel like a burden.     Nice overnight stay on the way to Jasper, Alberta!

    This was an excellent choice for our trip to Jasper! It is about halfway, so the drive was not tiring at all. We enjoyed the scenery, and took plenty of time getting there.     Ok hotel but toilet issue was unacceptable

    Overall the hotel is ok but my major complaint is the water level in the toilets, I've stayed in three different rooms here and each time the water level in the toilet was so high I couldn't sit down without getting wet. I have never experienced this in my life except for at the Best Western Edson. I brought it up to the staff, figured it was an issue with one particular room, they said they sorted it out. I stayed again the next week in a different room and it was the same issue, bizzare. I also found the water pressure in the shower to be very poor which is a pet peeve of mine, pool was shut down during my stay, kids were disappointed, I was going to stay for the next several weeks but ended up cancelling and went elsewhere, fool me once ect ect ect. Breakfast from the restaurant was good and the pub was good.
