  Not very clean. Our toilet was wobbly, shower had no pressure and didn’t drain properly. Definitely in need of upgrades. Rooms were not cleaned, towels were not refreshed, garbages not collected. The included breakfast is stale cereals, pancakes, yogurt, juice and stale muffins. Not much staff presence.But this isn’t what the problem was. We were there for a hockey tournament. I realize these are difficult for hotels to manage which is why we book conference rooms, try to keep the kids busy in the pool, etc. We were all cognizant of noise, cleaned up after ourselves, and kept the kids from running wild. Not once during the weekend did any staff tell us we were too loud or shouldn’t be doing things. 7 families had booked two additional nights to ski. The first night we were in the arcade two staff members came upstairs and told us their “manager” was watching us on the cameras and our team was banned from coming back. No warnings, no earlier complaints. We cleaned up and went to our rooms and all received notes under our doors for our rude behaviour and saying there is no alcohol allowed anywhere but our rooms and we were free to leave if we couldn’t respect the staff. Had someone said anything to us earlier in the weekend or communicated with us, it would be more understandable.The restaurant manager had told us we could use the arcade tables if we bought a few drinks from them. The hotel staff had said the restaurant and arcade were separately managed. But when they came up and said we had to leave it was suddenly managed by them??? Very disappointing to what had otherwise been a decent weekend. I wouldn’t have bothered complaining about the other issues had this not occurred. Going right to telling us our team is banned with no previous conversations or warning of course made us angry and upset. They lost our business for the next night as well as the business in the restaurant where we had all planned to eat after skiing. We will be sharing this experience with the rest of our association and want to warn other teams to not use this establishment for tournaments.

  We were concerned about our safety at this hotel. We booked as a family and saw a rule at the swimming pool saying that no adults were allowed in alone. Despite this, one man was in by himself and stood at the top of the water slide watching our children for ages. We felt uncomfortable and left and wondered why the hotel were not enforcing their own rules. In addition my family got stuck in the lift. The lift doors didn’t open and no one answered when they rang the help bell. They had to open the doors by pushing them hard and when they reported it to the front desk were told that ‘it’s something that happens when the lift gets too hot’!!!! No concern that the lift was overheating or why and no attempt to close the lift. We won’t be returning!

  The room was ok nothing fancy but clean and nice. The beds were great, pillows very nice. Balcony overlooking the river and views all around are amazing! The breakfast was unhealthy carbs. I didn't even go down the next day. The swimming was so nice! Staff was very friendly and helpful.Loved our stay

  Definitely not on your must do list! Check in was as friendly and welcoming as visiting the supermarket....they still have 'covid' plastic screens covering the reception. Dated and dull decor. Probably a dream hotel for couples with kids who will revel in the pool / games machines and 'run about wild' atmosphere....restaurant was meh! Average quality food at inflated prices. Server was trying his best in an over crowded place. For the prices charged at this hotel, three times what you pay in calgary for exceptional hotels, it should be sparkling....but it isnt!

  Friendly welcome but tired rooms

  Thw first thing to say is that all the staff we met were welcoming and very friendly. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The not so good was that the rooms needed some TLC. The shower and bath fittings need adjusting and the patio door lock needs adjusting. The breakfasts were included in the price but were basic. I must say that lots of families with young kids enjoyed themselves. Just maybe not the best choice for a pair of middle aged adults. We didn't risk the water slide which again was very popular with young kids. Good value though and wish them well
