The hotel has a lift and features 164 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     An unexpected gem

    I have stayed in many hotels but The Nomad was one of the quietest. The walls and floors seem like they are made of concrete…no sounds of other bathrooms, TVs or voices from other guests. No footsteps as guests passed my door. It was unexpected that it was such a nice hotel—it’s downtown in a small town, obviously an older property. It is definitely my definition of a “boutique” hotel. Very updated and felt fresh when I walked in. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A small laundry with updated washers and dryers and a small workout room. Both very clean. On the first floor are several upscale restaurants and shops.     I always stay at the Nomad in Fort Mcmurray for several reasons; including the way the staff are, feels like your going home for the night. Perfect location, rooms are great, staff is awesome! i would recommend this hotel to anyone!
