    We stayed with our 2 adult children and one girlfriend. We got a suite with a separate bedroom and 2 queens in the main room. Worked for us. We found it quiet despite its proximity to the highway. Buffett breakfast was a pleasant surprise with real eggs and bacon. The pool is a good size and the hot tub worked. Exercise room was underwhelming. It is at the top of the hill overlooking Golden so not really a walkable area.Great view from the restaurant and probably some rooms.

    Upon arrival I noticed that there was a lack of parking available. Check in went fine but when I inquired about parking I was told to park wherever I liked - which ended up being on the side of the driveway leading in under a tree.I had booked a suite with a hot tub which ended up being upstairs over the lobby and restaurant. The lobby is tired with tiles stacked up by the fireplace, and there were cases of empty beer bottles stacked up beside the stairs that stayed longer than I did. The carpets in the hallway could use a good cleaning and there were missing baseboards. The room itself was big with a separate jacuzzi room and a full kitchen and I was pleased to see two TVs in the room - one each for the living area and the sleeping area. Unfortunately the furniture is tired and has been better days.The TV in the living area for some reason was not connected to cable, so presumably one would have to log into their own streaming service subscription to watch anything. The TV in the sleeping area was connected to cable, but it was snowy on the dozen and a half SD channels that came through.Then there was the hot tub. When I attempted to fill the hot tub I noticed there was no hot water. Over the course of an hour and a half I dealt with the front desk trying to find a resolution. First I was told to let the water run for a few minutes. Then I was told that maintenance would look into it, and then that there was a problem with the boiler. Then I was told that maintenance might come fix it in 2-3 hours or maybe tomorrow. "Sorry." Not what I wanted to hear on a room that has a $50 premium over a standard room. It never got fixed.Then there was the breakfast. I didn't appreciate not being allowed to take breakfast back to my room, as there were no cups to drink anything, and it would have been nice to have something to wash down the last two remaining slices of stale bread.When I checked out I did mention that the hot tub issue never got resolved and was told, "I'll ask my manager. Sorry." No consideration for being charged for services that were paid for and not available. Feels like a classic bait and switch.I could have paid less to stay at a nicer property in Golden, and next time through that is exactly what I will do, and I suggest you do the same.

    SHADY SHADY SHADY!!!!

    BEWARE! This location is shady. They charged a significant amount of money to my credit card without authorization. They claimed damages. I was there one night, by myself! I don’t drink or smoke. They refuse to admit or acknowledge and now my card company has to dispute it. What a hassle and SHADY SHADY SHADY! Who else have they done this to?The rooms are very, very basic and expensive for what you get, and the toilet didn’t flush properly which they knew about and didn’t bother fixing.

    Had a room on the back side with a mountain view.... room was ok... door was very hard to open and close ... TV did not work but front desk staff was very helpful and managed to fix tv... breakfast was just OK... located just off highway ... has a restaurant on site which was pretty good ...
