    Arrived and room was not ready after 4 PM. Found the room filthy, smudge marks all over the headboard, food stains and crusts on the side of the chair, wallpaper and lampshade stained. More of a crime scene than a room. 100% will never stay again. Disgusting.

    Bed bugs beware room 203

    Bed bugs. My husband spent 2 nights in this hotel room 203 and came home covered in hundreds of bites. The bites were all over his back, arms and head. He has been dosing on Benadryl for the last 3 nights because of the itch. We contacted the hotel but with little results. Please be careful this is not fun. Hotel Management, General Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Lethbridge, responded to this review Hi, Thank you for reaching out to share your concern. We’re sorry to hear about your husband’s discomfort and understand how upsetting this experience must be.Please rest assured that we take all reports involving potential bed bugs very seriously. As soon as your message was received, our housekeeping and head maintenance teams conducted a thorough inspection of Room 203. No evidence of bed bugs or related activity was found. Furthermore, there have been no similar complaints from guests who stayed in that room before or after your husband’s visit, even as of today.We would also like to note that no concerns were raised during his stay, and no signs or issues were reported to us upon check-out. In situations like this, we strongly encourage guests to notify us immediately so we can take prompt and appropriate action.During our follow-up discussion, we kindly requested any supporting documentation, such as photos, medical confirmation, or physical evidence, to assist us in conducting a more in-depth inspection, including with a pest control expert if needed. At this time, we have yet to receive any.That said, we remain open to reviewing any additional information you may wish to share. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.     Manager doesn't care about guest- pool is unsanitary!

    We spent 3 nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lethbridge- checking in Thursday and checked out Sunday. We stay in hotels often, so I had called ahead to check the size of the fridge in our room. I always food prep and bring meat/cheese/veggies and fruit, so I wanted to make sure I'd have room in the fridge. We arrived late Thursday evening and checked in around 9pm. Standard room- was decent as per cleanliness (however I did have to wipes high touch areas that had hand/finger prints on them from previous guests). Unpacked our things (including fridge items; I had to wipe fridge shelves as they were dirty) and went down to the pool. Pool was average, hot tub was only luke warm; but the kids loved the waterslide. Beds and pillows we comfy, which was nice. We had 4 registered guests in our room- but they only provided 3 towels, so we had to ask for more. The next morning when I opened the fridge to get our food out, everything besides the drinks were frozen. This was super frustrating as I had purchased groceries, spent time prepping and then brought it with- cucumbers/ carrots/ melons we ruined and had to be thrown out. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. The front desk staff asked me why- so I explained the situation. They said that maintenance could come and check the fridge. I explained that my husband and I had pulled the fridge out to check the temperature setting and it was almost at the coldest temperature- so we turned it down. That was the problem. To me, that is something that should be checked by staff when they check and clean the room between guests. They offered us another room- but I had already wiped down and totally unpacked our stuff and didn't want to have to repack everything up. I asked for the manager to call me in regards to the damaged/ inedible food. No one called me back. I called on Sunday prior to check out again asking to speak to the manager about this- I was told that mangers don't work weekends. I again explained to this staff member and made it clear that I wanted to be compensated for the frozen food. I asked for them to have the manager call me on the Monday when they were in. Tuesday, after not receiving an invoice, or call from the manager I again called the hotel. Upon speaking with the manager- she refused to pay for the cost of the food. Saying that I refused to have maintenance come and check the fridge and didn't want to change rooms. ( I had already explained the situation to 2 of her staff and had to track her down to address the problem). She blamed me and said that I should have changed rooms- no! your staff should do the proper room checks and this situation could have been entirely avoided. Housekeeping only came into the room one time and took out the garbage while we were there. Didn't make the beds or tidy anything (remove beverage cans ect). It was the same for our entire hockey team. Very poor housekeeping service while staying at the hotel.The worst thing was that someone pooped in the hot tub and the pool area was supposed to be shut down while they tested the water level/ shocked the water. We were told the pool would be shut down for at least 4 hours. When we came back to the pool definitely less than 4 hours later people were already back in the pool. Which means they didn't drain the hot tub and properly clean it or properly treat the swimming pool water prior to letting guests back in! Absolutely DISGUSTING!

    This hotel staff and especially manager (Stephanie L) was a nightmare to deal with. Stay somewhere else, this place is not worth it .The way she treated us and dealt with us was beyond unprofessional. We will NEVER stay at this Lethbridge hotel again so many other, better options out there.

    Stayed for one night on our way through and it met all our needs. Easy access of highway and close to Tim's. Cleanliness was good, the only complaint would be the chair in our room(407) was quite stained. The pool looked nice, I did use the gym and it was well equipped but lacking disinfectant wipes. Complimentary breakfast was the standard fare, breakfast attendant was friendly. Overall great stay, thank you.
