  We booked this as most Comfort Inn's have been a good experience in the past. This one was not. Upon check in we noticed the smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby. When given our room key the smell was more pronounced once entering. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the shower. We returned to the front desk to ask for another room which was provided but it was the same. I think people smoke outside the rooms but the smoke goes into the ground level patio doors. We asked for a refund as I booked another place immediately. Thank you Hotels.com for saving us. If you are allergic to smoke and unclean bathrooms this is not the place for you.

  Mattress and Bed comfort

  My wife and Just returned from a stay at this comfort inn East hotel on May 17,2925 and was really impressed with the recent renovations! The entire property feels fresh and beautiful. I also have to commend the staff, who were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleanliness was also top-notch – the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was hot and the generalmen was so on top of replenishing the food. However, I did have one significant issue with my stay: the bed in my room was uncomfortably hard. It was so firm that I actually considered requesting a room change in the middle of the night. Ultimately, due to the late hour, I ended up sleeping in the chair for the remainder of the night. My wife woke with an incredibly sore back. While I truly appreciated the aesthetics, friendly service, and cleanliness, the uncomfortable bed unfortunately impacted our overall experience. I hope the hotel will consider addressing the comfort of the mattresses in the renovated rooms. The receptionist on the morning of my wife and I leaving said that the beds are all new, unfortunately I think they missed replacing the bed in room 116. Overall: Beautiful hotel with excellent staff and cleanliness, but the bed comfort needs improvement.

  Wonderful Stay!!

  Room was very modern, spacious, and clean. The front desk were very pleasant and available to answer any questions. Breakfast in the morning was great! A good selection and plenty to eat. Food was replenished even near the time breakfast was supposed to be finished for the day. I would highly recommend.   This hotel is completely under renovation, with the exception of 1 hallway of completed rooms.To get to these rooms, hallway is covered in tarps/ plastic.There was no complimentary breakfast following morning.Just an open refrigerated display with pop, frozen dinners, snacks, of which you pay for through front desk.They will not accept security deposit in cash, only interac or credit card.According to staff, they are not set up to accept cash.My security deposit went from $100 to $250 for 1 night!Reception is old & tired looking.Manager was had documents and work spread out in breakfast area and was using lobby computer.Outside entrance has no landscaping. Overgrown grass, dead plants and bushes.Parking area throughout circumference of hotel had garbage dumpters & construction equipment.This hotel should renovate , then re-open.Its truly not worth the inexpensive nightly rate.

  Comfortable beds, plenty of food for buffet breakfast including scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, cereals and pastry, easy to find from highway, spacious room, pleasant easy check-in. Fridge in the room . The air conditioner/ heater was a little loud. Wifi strong connection. Pizza delivery available.
