The area was interesting, during the day it looked a bit grungy but the streets lit up at night and I realized what Place Des Arts was all about and it was awesome! The room was clean and pretty basic. Overall it was worth the money.

Not accessible for people with physical disabilities

Cons- Blue towels /washcloths release ink as I showered. Dirty sheets. Roaches in the breakfast room. Very steep stairs. WiFi very poor. I could go on but you get the point. I was here for three day weekend and paid $110 a night. Pros-great location. Free water

    Tolerable stay, definitely budget!

I took my daughter and her best friend on a whirlwind trip to La Ronde to see the final pyro musical show, a Tribute to Taylor Swift. I was crew for Blue Star Pyrotechnics representing Canada this year. First off, I am glad I checked in before heading to La Ronde, it gave me a chance to find the entrance (between the sex shop and cash loan shop) right around the corner from the Stripper club. It is a very dated motel, old carpeting, shared bathrooms (that do have locks) squeaky floors, etc. but the room was fairly clean, the beds were clean, and the place was tolerable. The area around the hotel does however have a lot of homeless and users. It was a little sketchy at 1am when we got back from the show.

    Not worth the price

Aging, poorly kept, and very expensive for what it is.The towels are wearing through, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the floor was sticky. The paint on the window in the bathroom was chipping away, and the floor was on a slope. No disabled access, and no elevator - which is, quite frankly, ridiculous for a hotel that calls itself the traveller’s shelter!

    Decent budget hotel. Staff miserable

    rating24 Jul 2024

Good priced hotel very centrally placed. In vibrant part of town, shared bathroom not a problem for me.Breakfast included.Staff not welcoming or friendly, when I had a problem with the Internet he basically said it was me.I said you don't seem very friendly, he didn't even greet me when I approached the desk.If you don't mind staff ignoring you, looking tired and fed up. And not being helpful, the hotel is fine.
