  Great Stay Overall, but Breakfast Not Worth the Upgrade

  Room was nice, bathroom was great, and everything felt comfortable and quiet. The staff were very kind and accommodating, which made the stay even better.Our only issue was with the breakfast. We paid for the higher “breakfast included” rate expecting a buffet with a variety of options like omelettes and waffles. Instead, it was a sit-down breakfast with a very limited à la carte menu. Even more disappointing, drinks were not included—we ended up paying $30 just for two coffees and two hot chocolates.That said, when I raised this concern, the hotel staff was very helpful and adjusted our rate to the non-breakfast option for the remaining nights, which we appreciated.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and excellent location close to everything in Old Montreal—but I would skip the breakfast upgrade if you’re expecting variety and value..   Excellent hotel in heart of Old Montreal

  - Excellent location, short walk to everything Old Montreal has to offer,- I was able to check in at 1:30pm and received a very friendly welcome from the associate at the front desk.- Larger hotel room was comfortable, clean, modern bathroom, comfortable bed with lots of great pillows. My room was also very quiet, at the end of a hall.- The kind welcome note and sweet treats waiting for me in the room were a very nice touch, thank you.- Nespresso machine and pods in the room.- Small fridge in the room.- Water and ice dispenser in the hall, and a glass jug in the room to fill with water when you need it.- A shame that there is no pool in this hotel. I was expecting one, and was disappointed. If you want a pool, the AC Hotel Downtown Montreal does have a pool, but you are quite a long walk away from the charm of Old Montreal there.- Bring your own bath robes and slippers as they are not provided in the room, which surprised me.- It’s the quiet location, tucked away down a small street, in the midst of Old Montreal, walkable to everything that makes this place shine.- All in all, for the room rate and fantastic location, I would recommend this hotel. I had a very comfortable stay and loved being able to wonder out of the hotel and be in the Heart of Old Montréal.- A NOTE for the management - you really need to update the wall AC units. They are so loud when they are running. It literally woke me up. I turned mine off for this reason.   Prime Old Montreal location, spacious rooms, excellent value

  A highly recommended stay in the heart of Old Montreal, especially for travellers who value location, space, and convenience. Even visiting in March—with temperatures ranging from -10 to 10°C—was very manageable with proper winter clothing, and didn’t take away from the experience.The hotel’s biggest strength is its unbeatable location in Old Montreal. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to the Montreal Science Centre, close to Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, and about 7 minutes to Chinatown (so many great places including the extremely delicious Pho Bac 97!), Montreal. So many options to eat including Subway, McDonalds and Van Houtte within 2 minutes walk for families looking for quick value while exploring and not breaking the bank in Old Montreal. Being centrally positioned along Rue Saint-Paul makes it easy to explore throughout the day and return to the hotel with ease.We stayed in Suite 311, which was spacious, clean, and well laid out. The beds felt new and comfortable, and the pull-out sofa adds flexibility for families. The bathroom was modern and generously sized, featuring both a rain shower and handheld wand, with plenty of towels and responsive housekeeping when needed. A thoughtful entry nook with a bench and storage space for luggage was a nice touch, though better lighting or clearer signage for the hidden LED switch would improve usability.Service throughout the stay was courteous and attentive. Staff were helpful with recommendations, including nearby spots like Café Olimpico for specialty coffee and light and fancy treats.Parking is worth planning in advance. Hotel parking offers in-and-out privileges and better value than nearby private options. Alternatively, the Palais des congrès de Montréal parking garage is a solid option at a lower daily rate (less than 10mins walk from hotel), though without re-entry—ideal if you plan to leave your car parked for some of your stay.A few minor drawbacks: occasional odours in the elevators, some hallway noise, and a loud HVAC unit (we found it manageable to turn off during winter). A few small bathroom room details—like an empty conditioner bottle, limited counter space and not enough hooks or space to put clean clothes—could also have improved our experience.Overall, while the exterior is understated, the interior delivers where it matters most. This is a comfortable, well-located hotel offering strong value for the area—an excellent base for exploring Montreal.   Excellent hotel, formerly Springhill Suites we stayed in a few years ago. Had wifi issues, spoke to manager and IT advisors, got upgraded room no WIFI problems;Few steps from Main Street in Old Montreal, McDonalds, Subway, small stores close by, not far from main Metro line. excellent beds and pillows. Modern design, some things iike lights, look nice but not practical. Breakfast is $25 for 2 hot optons includes variour cold options, Got $10 off coupon for breakfast or bar. Felt should have simpler breakfast options, like if you want fruit/muffin, you can't get it just part of $25, mgt should review this.   Comfy, pay for buffet breakfast but no evening meal. The pool has apparently been turned into a gym and the rooms we had were clean and comfortable. There are plenty of eateries close by. Parking is available. Very helpful staff.
