    Hotel & Spa Carré Saint-Louis offers a comfortable stay overall. The room was on the smaller side, but it was well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and a nice way to start the day, with good variety and quality.Service throughout the hotel was good—staff were courteous and helpful. The main disappointment was the spa. We booked based on a friend’s previous stay, during which spa access was included. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us. Access was an additional $50 per person for three hours, so we chose not to go.Overall, it’s a pleasant hotel with solid service, but the extra cost for the spa was disappointing and should be clearer at booking.

    Pros… great location close to transit & in a very walkable neighborhood. Excellent massage & staff at check out. I briefly used the spa circuit and it was comped since I didn’t stay long. Allowed to store luggage safely and gave info about places to go in the area. Very accommodating at check out which is appreciated. All in all was fine for one night but I’d ask for different room choice. Photos on line did not reflect room we had . Cons… not all rooms are the same. Cramped, tv did not work, quirky layout. Room was stuffy w/o climate control I’d asked reception if there were different rooms or a higher floor available and the female clerk was curt and said no.

    My wife paid $345 to sleep in their lobby because the guy at the desk didn't know how to program the room key and none of the master keys would open the room so she can't speak to the quality of the room. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

    The hotel is clean. The kitchenette is well stocked. The bed is comfortable. The paid parking is very convenient, but be sure to reserve in advance. And it is so close to the metro (200 meters) to make it a very convenient location. Nice quiet St. Louis park adjacent with a good coffee shop in the kiosk in the park. (Closed unfortunately in winter). Ee plan to use it regularly when we come to Montreal from Vermont.

    Clean, quiet room. Convenient location. Good value for money. The only suggestion would be to give the carpeting hallway a light shampoo in the next month or so. Staff accommodating and professional. We plan to stay here again in the future.
