  Greeted by crowds of smokers outside. The place reeks of weed. The inside smells of smoke, weed, musty. Given a room in the basement. Website photos are definitely misleading. Many broken odds and ends in the apartment, dirt and filth in all the nooks and crannies, walls are filthy. We kept our shoes on and didn’t touch any furniture. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Spend the extra hundred bucks for somewhere decent.

  At first, everything seemed fine, but I woke up at 4:00 in the morning and I felt a severe tingling sensation throughout my body, and I could not go back to sleep. I also found a lot of spiders, and when I consulted the doctor, he gave me a week of rest.I was attacked by bedbugs

  Creepiest Hotel in the whole of Montreal!

  This might just be the worst accommodation EVER! Before I list the many negatives I would just like to say staff were kind, friendly and approachable and the beds were very comfortable! We were welcomed by group of smokers outside the building. The lobby and hallways are extremely seedy and smelled awful like smoke and someone cooking bones and tripe. Not to mention how hot it was inside it felt like the middle of summer. We found a collection of items around the appartement, a vape under the pull out lounge, a mouse poo under the pillow and when we went to hop in bed we were greeted with a collection of hairs under the doona, nail scissors on the floor and worst of all A BRA BEHIND THE TV! it was a shocking experience finding all of these bits and bobs. Cooking dinner was a hassle too! All there was to cook with was a HUGE pot (not sure what they expected us to make in it, with not a single one of the hot plates working) We were forced to cook pasta in the microwave (pretty miserable.) and there was nothing to wash up with, no cloth, detergent or tea towel. Not even a plug for the sink! The balcony was extremely sketchy with the whole floor being water logged and swelled and the door out to the balcony didn’t lock! Being on the first floor in a dodgy neighbour hood with a door out to the public unlocked didn’t contribute to the already unsafe feeling environment. The furniture was all broken and marked with scratches and they were all extremely run down. The lights didn’t always work and the apartment was dark and depressing. They obviously don’t put much money back in to the hotel to make it a nicer place. Especially with it being almost $200 dollars a night save yourself and spend a bit more money and stay somewhere else. Forgot to mention pretty much everything advertised on their website, free shuttle, vending machine, self serve laundry, express check out/in, pets allowed (only allowed with a $40 fee) don’t exist!!!

  I left. My deck door had no lock. The window frames were filthy. The heat is controlled by the receptionist in her office with one switch and temp setting for the whole building, and it was hot and smelly. I encountered three falling-down drunk people in 15 minutes in the hallways and foyer. No elevator. Peeling paint in all my kitchen cabinets.Dishes put away and washed. Dark, dim and the dirtiest light switches I have ever seen. It was horrific, in need of repair and thoroughly sketchy. I looked at two other rooms. Both had locking deck doors, but both had similar issues with extreme wear, damage exceptionally dirty conditions
