Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Montreal's cultural and business district in the city centre, within walking distance of Old Montreal, major attractions, festivals, restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. The Latin Quarter, convention centre and Berri UQAM metro station are all 10 minutes on foot, and the bus and train stations are around a 15-minute walk. Mount Royal Park is a 20-minute drive and the Mont Avila ski area is roughly an hour by car.

Facility

The hotel has 123 rooms, including 33 junior suites, suites, 16 single rooms and 67 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Good location, that’s it

    I booked here because I stayed in 2017 and it was OK, but I don’t think I’d come again. The location is great, but the hotel is not in good conditions. From the elevators, to the rooms, not even the TV working. No parking, no breakfast. On top of that, the lady at the front desk wasn’t friendly or helpful. The guy that would cover for her was really though.

    This hotel advertises clean rooms on Hotels.com, but when you're assigned one, you're given dirty rooms that smell of damp and mold. Then they tell you they can't give you another room, and you decide to look for another hotel, believing you'll get a refund. They deny all your complaints. In our case, this happened, and we lost over $600 to this hotel. I don't recommend it to anyone so you don't fall for these offers, as you'll waste both time and money. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL: Chrome Montreal, Canada

    Worse place you can stay at, I had to leave with my family because there was what looked like urine and other kind of fluids in the bed sheets, water won’t go down the drain the bathrooms, awful parking space, I tried talking to a manager for like 6 days but they would always say he/she wasn’t there, stay away from this hotel!

    We booked this since the pictures looked good, the location was great, price was good, and they supposedly offered parking on site. Well, first when we get there, they tell us to park around the corner at a UQAM parking garage... so much for parking. That said, the recommended parking garage was a quick walk and quite secure and affordable.The room was okay, no funny smells or stains. The air conditioner worked, although it was quite finicky. The beds thankfully were comfortable. It was hard to find an outlet to charge our phones or use my laptop. The bathroom, while looked nice did not function well. The tub's drain was a hazard, especially since we had our 3.5 year old with us. The sink drain also was partially clogged.When I was coming and going it seemed the staff at the front desk was quite unfriendly. My wife also confirmed they weren't great to deal with when checking in. At least twice the man behind the desk was in a yelling match with other guests.At the price point and location, I guess it is what I should have expected, but the pure lack of effort on their park is pretty bad. At least the location was good and the bed was comfortable.

    This property is nothing like advertised on here or other platforms such as booking.com and etc. this property advertises onsite parking even though upon arrival they said that the parking is full. I was sent to an offsite parking where I had to pay $28 plus taxes per day without in/out option. The night shift front desk staff was extremely rude. Upon arrival I called the front desk to ask where the parking was and as soon as they picked up the phone I said “Hi there, how are you?” And the answer I heard was “I’m very busy. What do you want?”. Needless to say that the neighbourhood is very bad especially at night where there are a lot of homeless people and addicts around the hotel which made us feel very unsafe walking back to the hotel from the offsite parking. The hallways and the room were very damp and smelled really bad. The room had mold mostly on the ceiling. The wallpapers were peeling off almost everywhere in the room. The sheets were dirty and had holes in them. The sheet on the mattress cover was so small and had no tightening bands in it to even keep it in place which made the sleep horrible. Originally we had booked this property for 5 nights but we checked out the following morning because of obvious reasons. The manager was not helpful when asked to refund is for the mights we didn’t use and basically charged us just shy of $600 for 1 night. I have attached photos of the online listing as well as actual photos I took, to compare and for reference.
