Great location for business in Boucherville

    rating17 Dec 2025

Excellent location for doing business in Boucherville. The newer tower rooms are nicer than the older tower although the older tower rooms have been renovated. Comfortable beds. Funky designed rooms with LED lighting. Checkin is always fast, easy, and friendly. Walking distance from several restaurants. There is a bar/restaurant on site with good food and drinks. This is my go to place to stay in Boucherville.

    Perfume

    rating14 Nov 2025

I have a fragrance sensitivity. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. Every time I call and ask that a room be booked for me that is scent free, free of perfume and perfumed cleaning products . It’s always a challenge, I arrive and the room smells like perfume air freshener. The first few visits they moved me to other rooms till we found one that had the least amount of fragrance. This last visit was the worst, the room seemed fine when I checked it, but when the ventilation came on the air freshener would blow in, at some points during the night cigarette smoke as well. Maybe staff smoke on the roof next to the fresh air intake? I have no clue.Reservations make promises, then the front desk says we do our best. It’s never followed thru.Even as you walk in the main entrance you get blown away with an air freshener. It’s a nice hotel, so it’s unfortunate that I won’t be going back.

    5* with quieter HVAC

    rating10 Nov 2024

As you can see from my title, the HVAC was extremely noisy when operating. And when shutting down, a metal flap of some sort, would come crashing down, somewhere. Otherwise, bed was very comfortable, shower was hot with plenty of pressure, although not walk in.The presence of an espresso machine was a welcome feature. The on-site restaurant provided an excellent dinner and breakfast, although service and breakfast was somewhat inattentive.Still, best option on the South Shore.

Nice hotel, priced right, will book again.

    rating11 Aug 2024

Nice hotel, very clean and appears well maintained. Staff very welcoming, operations running smoothly, overall very good experience. I appreciated that the staff that emptied the trash bins took the time to move what could be recycled into the proper bag, not sure how much of a common practice it is nowadays but appreciated nevertheless. Also this place has a ton of EV plugs (10), great to have and seemed to be quite in use too! (all L2 chargers (1.75$/h) and one L3 by the Reno Depot store in front if needed. All operated by the Electric Circuit network)I was booked in one of the newer deluxe rooms and these are really nice, simplistic bright modern design. Some choices for the layout are "different" than your typical room but to me that was part of the charm. The shower heh, pair it with the color adjustable mood lighting and well... This room is for couples only or solo as I was. Vanity / Work desk combo in the middle of the room is an interesting choice. Is it the best design ever? It's not for everybody but it's different and very fine as solo traveler. On a side note, forgot to tell during checkout but hot/cold water was reversed in the shower for room 254, so if you think you get only cold water, try just putting it on cold, you might actually get hot water. Plenty of plug sockets, desks on each side of the bed, large TV.Loved also the jetted hot tub and pool. Nice place to relax! I was there mid day before going back home and certainly appreciated the empty pool, nice way to unwind! There were speakers in that area but nothing from them, not too sure if it was because I was there at about 1pm, might've been too early. Relaxing spa music would have fitted perfectly!Since I stayed only 1 night, I didn't really get to check the restaurant or other areas. There seemed to be plenty of seating and a nice place outside with loungers, hanging seats etc. No big events while I stayed so the places were virtually empty, perfect! On that note, the lobby looks great, hanging seats as you walk in (its nice looking, altho the practical side of it not so much as you would literally walk between people's conversations which did happen. It does set the tone right and I appreciated it for the looks! The room next to it has pool table and places to relax very warm colors, feels very cozy. Music selection on the evening of check in was a high tempo, trendy clothing store / pop dance style of music and the next day at checkout was ultra chill, choose your style heh. I went at ilesoniq that weekend, both were fine by me heh but don't necessarily go there to read a book even tho there are plenty there hanging (the outside spaces would be good for that tho).Hotel location has a few restaurants nearby as well as the usual tim horton's / gas station combo. Everything you need. Great!Price wise, this costed me about 200$+txs CAD (early august). I would say it's about right. There are other similar options in the area for about the same price. I wouldn't go higher than that tho. I've stayed in other places with more amenities for that price, but we are talking about 10-20min from downtown MTL, clean hotel with renovated rooms, etc, the price fits.So that's a 5/5 for me, will book again and for longer stays, enjoyed my time there!---One small note that made me question the booking initially. It is actually after coming here to read the reviews. I always tend to hunt for the 4 star reviews to get a general feeling and sometimes check the 1 star ones for 'entertainment' (sometimes you can spot legitimate issues as long as you can filter out the Karens).I found that some of the replies of what appears to be the owner, Mr.Paca to be a bit on the limit of professionalism. However these are in reply to harsh reviews so it can be 'justified' but in my opinion, from the point of view of someone that has to deal with google reviews on a daily basis, I would have used some restraint. Granted you want to defend your establishment and employees but there is danger in going hard. Know that while you reply to a single Karen, others will see it as well and adding fire won't necessarily give a good impression. To me, these situations are rather an opportunity to show that you are above these type of comments and If it does becomes too personal, chatgpt can be a great way out of it ;-). Just my opinion. In the end, it was not enough for me to look elsewhere and I was happy I did not let this influence my choice, however it did leave me with "what if something goes wrong, will the owner roast me if I tell front desk about it? Will front desk staff be influenced by what the owner says and be more prone to being annoyed / rough towards me? Thankfully, it never felt that way during my stay.

    Fantastic Hotel Stay

    rating08 Jul 2024

Spent 2 nights at the Mortagne on a business trip. First stay at this hotel. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable with unique rooms. The beds, pillows, linens were great. I found the rooms quiet and functional, even thought...at first...I found it different that the bathroom vanity served as he business desk also. It worked well and I adapted with ease. The lounge and patio were very nice. The food looked great, even though we ate off site for our time there. Many restaurants within a few minutes walk. Great hotel.
