Refund policy is Fraught and Shady

    rating27 May 2026

Buyer bewareI used my CC to secure a reservation here Thursday before F1 race. My wife and daughter stayed and the supervisor was accommodating in allowing them to check in after hours having arrived late from Toronto via train. The payment from my card should not have been withdrawn until check in time however the motel went ahead and withdrew $1179.93. The agent who made my booking called and asked that the motel refund my CC with that total and my spouse will provide her card for payment instead. They accepted this method and used my wife's CC to reserve the room. They informed the agent verbally that the refund will take 7-10 business days or a bit longer since some banks may have delays??? I also phoned the motel and spoke to a supervisor who said give it time as the refund was processed. Today is day 16 and now no one is answering my calls r the agent's. I also sent emails to resolve rather than involving a legal 3rd party but no reply. I contacted Scotiabank and they cannot start a dispute with the motel unless they have proof of refund intention. I do not have anything other than a verbal and so too does my agent.?IBetter Business Bureau does not operate in Mtl or Quebec so there is a department called OPC through which I will proceed. BUYER BEWARE as I may have to sue to recover

    NINI AND I LOVE ITTTTT

    rating09 Dec 2025

My Nini and I absolutely loved our stay!! The staff were all incredible and the room service was top notch. I got a personal foot bath and was fed escargot whilst being fanned by Mr. Newstar himself. I will be back again next weekend (We are Montreal locals lol).

    Got what I paid for!

    rating26 Jul 2024

The motel is definitely run-down a bit, and the floors were filthy, BUT it's a motel. It was affordable, the sheets were clean, and the water pressure was surprisingly awesome (I have thick hair so this is very important). I did have to request room cleaning though - I've never had to before so I only asked for a change of towels once during our 3-night stay.

Great for overnight stay, great price and free parking.

Stayed one night only and it did what it needed to do for a great price. Our first rooms phone and tv did not work but was immediately moved to another room where everything worked. Great front desk reception. Will stay again for one night if needed.

    No Frills Motel

    rating02 Sept 2022

I stayed here in August 2022 for 5 nights. The hotel is pretending to be better than it is, but I think it's a victim of its own attitude. It's a motel, so your door opens out to the perking lot, which was pothole-filled and quite uneven. As well, you're treated to all the conversations and noise from the other guests as they move between their cars and their rooms, as the doors and windows are not sound proof. The rooms are fairly small, but good enough if you're only sleeping there. The bed was not very comfortable; almost too soft, and the closet is not huge.Perhaps the worst thing is the housekeeping. The housekeepers are wonderful, and they work really hard, but you have to sign up for it when you arrive at the motel. We were not informed of this upon arrival, and sat for 3 days without fresh towels and a seriously messy floor (imagine walking into your bedroom from outside every day with dirty shoes). When I finally went to the office to ask for some clean towels, they informed me that I had to sign up for housekeeping when I arrived. Perhaps this could have better served me if they had told me this when I arrived! The location is good, there are a lot of restaurants and shops around, but you need a car. Do not choose this hotel if you're not planning on having a car, otherwise you'll be stuck out in the suburbs with limited ways to get into Montreal.Ultimately, for the price we paid, we expected more and didn't get it.
