    Solid property

    rating08 May 2026

Nicely renovated and clean. Included breakfast in morning was great. Pool, fitness and outside lounge facilities were great. Located a bit away from the action, but WEGO bus stop is just outside and is a great solution to getting around without a car. VIA/GO station is also very close. Only things I'll note is that if the hotel offers 24/7 coffee (which it does), it should also offer milk and cream (24/7), not just at breakfast. It's a bit of a funny gesture to offer free coffee all day without milk and cream. Also the walls are paper thin, you can hear full conversations from the room next door (not ideal). Chelsea Bidgood, General Manager at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Niagara Falls Canada, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review and giving us a perfect score! We're delighted that you enjoyed the cleanliness, breakfast offerings, and the amenities like the pool, fitness center, and lounge area. It's great to hear that the nearby WEGO bus stop and VIA/GO station made getting around convenient for you. We appreciate your feedback regarding the milk and cream availability for coffee and the noise concerns due to thin walls. Your comments help us understand what could enhance guest experiences further. Thank you for letting us know—your input is invaluable!

    Many areas need improvement

    rating30 Mar 2026

The breakfast was not great, mostly instant stuff, the “hot” stuff wasn’t appetizing at all. Bed mattress is not firm enough, very soft and squishy. They don’t clean the room daily, only every other day as they say. Room is very small. Windows cannot be opened, the room is very stuffy with stale air. The ventilation only heats or cools, nothing in between, there is no fan only option without cooling or heating. So we are stuck with stuffy air. Hotel is not sound proof. We hear everything from the hallway as if they are right next to us. It’s like the walls are made of paper. The only positive is that there is a WeGo stop at this hotel, if you have a WeGO pass it could be convenient. Guest Services, at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Niagara Falls Canada, responded to this review Dear Travelizer, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your stay, from the breakfast offerings and room conditions to concerns about ventilation and noise levels. We understand how these aspects can impact your overall experience, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know. On a positive note, it’s great to hear that the WeGo stop added some convenience to your visit. Your feedback is appreciated, and we will ensure it is brought to the attention of the appropriate team. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

    A good stay

    rating21 Oct 2025

Overall a good experience and I would stay here again. The negatives - the breakfast is not great. I like to eat fresh real eggs and the eggs there were gross, except for the hard boiled eggs. The other negative is that our room was tight/small. It was a two queen room, but it felt like it should be a room for one king bed. Besides those two things, there were lots of positives. Our family liked that the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist trap of Clifton Hill, yet it was just a few minutes away from all the things to do and see. The hotel is overall clean. The hotel employees were kind and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to others.

    Delightful - highly recommended

    rating15 Sept 2025

After leaving another hotel in the Niagara area early as a result of issues with my stay there, I chose this newly refurbished property located in the northern fringes of Niagara Falls on the winding and pretty River Road which leads to the Botanical Gardens, the Floral Clock and, eventually to the beautiful Niagara On The Lake. The property is located directly opposite the White Water Walk attraction and right in front of a WeGo bus stop for the Green Line service which takes you to the heart of it all in just a few minutes. There's not much else nearby, but for someone who'd rather not stay in the midst of all the noise and bussle of a touristy area that was great news for me.What a delightful experience! Check in was efficient and personable. The room was spotlessly clean, and very attractively furnished with a modern, well -equipped kitchenette and a walk in shower room. Fresh smelling, cool and comfortable, I enjoyed a fantastic night's sleep on a comfy bed and awoke to views of the adjacent Buddhist temple and the wooded banks of the Niagara River. The inclusive breakfast was better than I had expected for a budget aparthotel , with a modest selection of cooked items but plenty of breads, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The only slight issue I faced was that the hotel's systems had been badly affected by a power outage prior to my arrival, and one of the impacts of this was that the electronic key card system had failed meaning that arriving guest had to be escorted to and let into their rooms by a staff member which was a little inconvenient. However, to the absolute credit of the team, they handled this cheerfully, and automatically offered a generous 20% discount on the already competitive room rate as well as free parking for that night (normally CAD $15, which is still a bargain compared to other hotels closer to the centre). Overall, outstanding! Highly recommended.

Misrepresented Photos, But a Great Stay Overall

    rating01 Aug 2025

TownePlace Suites Niagara Falls Canada is misrepresented here on TripAdvisor — the photo shown is of a Ramada with an IHOP, neither of which applies. This is, in fact, a TownePlace Suites, and there is no restaurant on-site other than the breakfast room, which is included with your stay. That said, the hotel itself is beautifully clean and modern. We stayed twice — once en route to Toronto, and again a week later on our return to the U.S. Both stays were equally satisfying. The front desk staff was excellent, especially Htal (possibly the front desk manager), who went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. Other team members were also friendly, professional, and eager to assist.Breakfast was typical hotel free-breakfast fare — bagels, muffins, fruit, eggs, cereal, coffee, and juice — nothing fancy, but well-maintained and constantly replenished, even during busy times. If you're looking to spend money for a breakfast with more variety, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel is dog-friendly, which we appreciated, and also family-friendly, with lots of kids around due to the suite-style rooms, location, and price point. Our suite was well-appointed, with a kitchenette, comfortable bedding, and a good amount of space. The rooms were very clean! The only downside was the AC unit, which blew directly onto one of the beds in our two-bed suite, and cycled on and off at odd intervals in both rooms we stayed in.All in all, we had a great experience, and I’d happily stay here again — just ignore the outdated listing photo!
