  Good location, nice staff but restaurant dishwasher was not working so breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Surprisingly real cups used for coffee so wonder if properly cleaned. Lost hot water for our last night but no indication when it would be back on even though lost through the night. After we found a different hotel for our last night on our own, desk staff indicated hot water loss effect only half of hotel. We were not offered the option to change rooms (parking lot far from full) nor any compensation for our inconvenience.

  Old & dated Hotel ruined our weekend

  Absolutely horrible experience with this hotel. Old, very dated, and we didn’t get the room we booked so they blamed the third party. Wouldn’t discount our stay, and it totally ruined our weekend. Bathroom was horrible and check-in took a while as only 1 desk clerk working. Great location, horrible hotel. Will NEVER stay there again. It’s worth to drive the extra 6 mins to stay more on main strip in Orillia. If I could give this place less than 1 rating I would.

  Very Clean & comfortable room! Only thing discouraging & lowering the rating is Why is there No Breakfast at a BW that has a restaurant right inside the hotel?? $$For this reason I payed more than other hotels but got less; so 3stars on value

  Needs to be renovated. No free breakfast and no pool.

  Hotel was not good for the price we paid per night, bathroom was dirty, shower was disgusting. The bathroom fan rattled so hard it shook the whole room. The light switches were covered in dirt. The room reminds me of a funeral home, very outdated furniture and amenities. There is no pool and no free breakfast which is surprising after all the best westerns we’ve stayed at before had a pool and a breakfast, the night clerk told us to swim in the lake, she didn’t even know about the swim advisory for the lake behind the hotel. They allowed motorcycles to be parked all over the front entrance and sidewalk. Will definitely avoid this one next time in Orillia.   Nice but not your top model hotel

  The hotel needs some work for sure…..when driving up to the front entrance you can tell it needs some painting, but once inside very clean and the gentleman at the reception desk was polite and friendly and checked us in quickly and efficiently, and then showed us on the plan on where the room was and the way to get there. The room was clean and fresh and the bathroom was also very clean and fresh and nice to have a mat to place down on the tub floor so you don’t slip when showering. The rooms are older but comfortable and clean.Now the things that need to be looked at are in the lobby no coffee available even though there’s a machine but no supplies, and a water cooler but no bottle in it. The restaurant does not operate on Mondays, and was open for Breakfast on Tuesday but for some reason was not open for dinner even though it was advertised to be. The biggest problem was we were booked for 2 nights ..Monday to Wednesday check out, and on Tuesday we were out for the day and when returned NOTHING was done. Bed was not remade, towels not changed, garbage still in the cans. There was no notice of word from the front desk that we would not get this service or had to ask for it. The hotel is nice but it does need upgrades for sure.
