    This was a very nice hotel and front desk staff were friendly. The hotel is right downtown and we found several homeless people in the area. The hotel provides underground parking at a cost, which is advisable given the location. Rooms are clean and modern and there is a restaurant on site.

    Great lobby area and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Was a little disappointed to find a long hair in the bath towel and see the toilet hadn’t been adequately scrubbed. There was also barely any hot water - had to turn the shower on full blast and wait for about 4 minutes for it to get warm… and then keep it there to shower. It wouldn’t get hot and was just warm enough so that the shower was tolerable. Loved the underground parking. The hotel is in a rough part of town, lots of unhoused people around, saw a group using drugs and one guy passed out laying on the ground across the street. We never felt unsafe and the hotel locks the rear entrance to prevent non guests from entering.

    We had some debates and external influence to our travel group before finalizing this booking. Went with my gut and confirmed. Glad that we did. The room was great. We did not have an opportunity to eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that. Happy there was underground parking as it added a level of safety for later night/early morning car access.

    The hotel is amazing. It’s one of my favourite places to stay when I’m in Prince George. Underground parking makes me feel like my vehicle is secure. It’s close to some great restaurants throughout the downtown core and the convention center.Not a fan of the restaurant. I find the service extremely slow. This morning I stood at the counter, waiting for a tea, and the server was behind the counter partially in the kitchen and for about seven minutes, didn’t make eye contact with me. They knew I was there, but they didn’t make eye contact which is normal for past experiences in the same restaurant .

    Our go to stay!!!! Great staff and clean, quiet rooms. The Bistro has fantastic food with healthy options. We look forward especially to seeing Jessica Hainstock every year at the Bistro. A shout out to her as an amazing, efficient, accommodating and friendly server. We always look forward to staying at the Courtyard in Prince George. Thankyou,Kevin and Shanley Hodges 😊
