  Staff is great. We called ahead as we were driving a 25 foot truck moving, and required a large place to park which they assured us was. Rama problem. We realized in arrival,we could park, but the lot was also for businesses and if we ended up with a car on either side of us we would not be able to pivot out in morning. They kindly offered us their loading are outside the door and canopy as we had an early departure. Taking off sooo much stresssssss of dealing with large truck. They were friendly and incredibly accommodating. I tried to answer a review on their site, but it cut me off before I could write this down. We didn’t really focus on the Hilton honours at the time as it was secondary to our issue, but the staff was great. I would absolutely stay again.

  Great hotel just outside old QC

  This location is very convenient if you plan on driving over to old QC. There are restaurants and Costco right across the street. The rooms are spacious and clean. My only complaint is the bathroom, i don't like the sliding door and there is no fan! Why do hotels not have fans? I will admit, the water pressure from the shower head was the best I have ever had at any hotel...so good! They offer free breakfast and parking which is great. The pool is decently big and clean. I would definitely stay in at this hotel when visiting QC or a stopover on my way to the east coast as we did on our return trip from Fredericton.*The breakfast is standard and nothing special but the staff was great! All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

  This was a convenient stop on the way to explore parks along the St. Lawrence. Could have rated a possible 4. However, I must immediately deduct 2 circles from this hotel’s rating for lack of lighting. There were two low power desk lamps and that’s it! So dark, we couldn’t read or even see clearly inside our suitcases after dark without using a flashlight. There was a single overhead light in the hallway and bizarrely 4 – yes FOUR lights in the bathroom including one under the sink illuminating the floor! We’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns and this didn’t live up to their quality.François earns back one full circle for his helpful reception and pleasantness. Our room was ok with view through a large window on 8th floor of the river and bridges in far distance. Ammenities included a refrigerator, coffee maker, computer desk, adequate outlets, a shelf between beds, a mirror, and 1 suitcase rack and a couple of square hassocks that we used for suitcases racks. Under “really odd” was the closet/bathroom door. As the door slides back and forth, either the closet or bathroom could be open at one time.We had good food and pleasant service at Cochon Dingue restaurant on the hotel’s first floor. There is a small shop to buy snacks. Parking before 4 PM could be an issue as restaurants and adjoining buildings use the same parking lot.

  Good, Convenient Stop

  This hotel is a good choice for a night stop if you are travelling between the Maritimes and Ontario. It is close to the autoroute 20, yet far enough that there is no traffic noise at all. Lots of parking. Front desk staff all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. And efficient, as well. The hotel public areas and our room were all very clean and well maintained. They also connect to the Cochon Dingue next door. (More on it later.)Our room was very spacious and well furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens all very good quality. We didn’t use the pool or workout room, but there was no smell of chlorine in the hotel (a good sign) and both appeared clean and well maintained. Ignore the free breakfast and go somewhere else. Free is worth exactly what you pay for it. The breakfast area was crowded. The food was uniformly bad: Sausages were undercooked, eggs overcooked, bread and bagels not the freshest, muffins awful. The orange juice and coffee were surprisingly good. There is a very nice supermarket (Avril) with coffee shop and lots of good foods a short walk away. A Costco and Costco Gas also right nearby. And some other stores we didn’t bother to explore. If you are arriving on a weekend or later in the afternoon or evening and are planning on going out to dinner, the Cochon Dingue right next is good, but you should make reservations with it by early afternoon. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the place was booked up. (We were lucky to get a table cancellation at 5:30.)We booked on. The Hilton app, but surprisingly, that did not get the best price available. So check the discount brokers as well if you are worried about a $10-$25 difference.

  Ouff where to start. We stop there because of bad weather. So no reservations. My friend and I stop to see if any available. Aure there was some. But different prices, about 50$ different exact same room 2 queen bed. So when asked why price difference, manager told us it was because it was done within 5 minutes apart from one reservation to the other. Ahe was right beside me the whole time. When asked if we could have same pricing she told us no because it is what it is no control over pricing. I was totally blow away!!! Wow what wonderful customer service!!! Absolutely not!!!! The breakfast, the eggs where green!!! So be careful when booking with them because prices can changes in a split second and it could be your loss!! Or your gain. Im waiting on offical complain process still didn’t receive anything from manager. So very very poor management. Be carful it’s a money trap!!!
