    Poor experience

    rating13 Jan 2026

We stayed overnight. At about 3.00 am we were woken up by a truck reversing and again at 5.00 am. The hotel is next to a car workshop. The bath/shower didn't drain properly. The breakfast was very ordinary. The location is poor as there are restaurants near by except if you want MacDonalds. We had a meal delivered and we asked for plates and were given disposables. The breakfast was very ordinary. I won't be back

Mediocre. Small rooms, one elevator and tour buses in and out. A place to sleep with breakfast and parking.

Small rooms, one elevator and tour buses in and out. Very few restaurants within walking distance. No housekeeping. One chair in small king sized room. Far from Old Quebec City and make sure your navigator takes you away fromCity traffic. Basically a place to sleep and parking with just ok breakfast.

Rude night staff and varied rules

    rating08 May 2025

Attended this hotel for a school trip. Group abided by curfews every night but constant issues with false complaints from staff and other guests. We are English so when the language barrier became a factor in communicating it increased the problems. There were unposted limits to the pool that were enforced likley because of noise between 8-9. Terrible for groups and I would not recommend this hotel. Plugs were not installed properly either. Beds and showers were not bad. Travel companies I would not use this as an option as they were terrible to deal with

    spartan bland inn

    rating12 Nov 2024

The emphasis is clearly on cost saving everywhere you look.To give some examples:- room door lets pass light, sound (of which we got plenty)- toilet paper as cheap as I have ever seen (stamp-like pieces)- room was cold and the bath temperature was locked at 18 C.- the water gets easily cold in the morning when many guests take their showers.- the breakfast had some choice, all of which were lowest of low-cost.- the bed had proper linen but was missing an extra cover. We had the worst room, small, street side and the first above the reception.Since the hotel is used by bus travel companies, we had the questionablepleasure to listen to arriving bus loads of guests at any time of the night, outside and coming by our room. A happy crowd, to judge by the noise level. The bath room cabinet had a loose foot, causing some level of anxiety. While the hotel is rather recent, this hotel will not be ageing very well.If I were to recommend anything at this hotel, I would call it bland, functional and inexpensive. No huge show stoppers. The staff were, as you can expect, not of thevery smiling kind, but at least there was staff and they were working.

    Fine with a car

    rating12 Sept 2024

The hotel is located in the suburbs, about 20 minutes drive to centre. Having a car is a must as there seems to be no practical alternative transportation. There is basically nothing around within walking distance. No restaurants, no places to see etc. From outside the hotel looks like a converted old type motel with outside entries, except front part which is modern glass and metal structure. But rooms have now interior corridor entries, 3 floors, and have been extensively renovated inside, with comfortable beds and large flat screen TV. There is also indoor pool and gym. The free parking lot is huge, even with hotel full it would not be a problem to find a spot. Our room was large, well furnished. It included coffee maker, fridge and microwave. It had portable A/C and window which could be opened. The walls were not very well insulated like in most hotels these days. Lighting could also be better. Housekeeping is only provided every 3 days, which was absolutely fine with us. The neighbourhood was relatively quiet and we never felt unsafe. The breakfast room on the ground floor is large and food selection sufficient, with cold and hot options (eggs, sausages, waffles, beans, potatoes, oatmeal). Coffee was also decent. We drove to the city every day and found a relatively cheap $10/day parking around Plains of Abraham Museum. Used it every day. Overall, this Quality Inn served well for our 3 day visit to City.
