  Abfab..... zero complaints...I don't see this sketchy neighborhood that some are talking about, but I do trust them.. oui ! Oui!!

  Dead flowers on the reception desk when we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, still there, even more dead, when we left on the Saturday morning. Gives a poor impression. The room was fine, a bit sparse but the bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Buffet breakfast cheap but limited and lukewarm. Compared to a 10 times better hotel in Montreal for the same price, the Royal William offers poor value. It’s not that conveniently located for tourists either.

  the rooms are spacious and modern with the renovations we have a full kitchenette in ours ...it includes a microwave , dishwasher , utensils , etc the staff at the front desk are polite and helpful ...we are only here for 2 nites however the 2 hiccups for Us are this ...No housekeeping service fresh towels etc we asked twice for the room to be made up and after the second request the best we got was fresh towels OK fine ...the Television also doesn't work without a engineering degree ...the staff from the front desk staff came to show us how to "work" it ...apparently scrolling through all the radio channels first is the Équipe Royal William, Services aux clients/réception at Hotel Royal William, responded to this review Dear Guest G4964SOjuliehThank you for taking the time to share your feedback.   Decent, but disappointing

  This hotel had some nice qualities, but our stay was disappointing. We are Choice Privileges members, but we did not get breakfast included. The main problem was the Quebec City RTC bus pass. Before we arrived, the hotel confirmed that we would get a 3-day bus pass to use during our stay, but when we checked in we were told that was a mistake and we would not get a pass. The staff did not even offer us anything to make up for the inconvenience. We were really counting on using that pass! The weather was cold, and it rained at times, so we had to pay for rides during our stay.The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. There was a small "kitchenette" with chipped dishes, small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Although the photo shows a rug in the room, our room had just a tiny rubber-backed rug. The floor seemed to be tile and was cold, especially when getting out of bed in the morning. The windows in the room were large, but dirty. The lobby was more like a hallway, and was not inviting. Some of the staff were nice, but after the bus pass issue, we were made to feel uncomfortable asking for anything else.   Clean, comfortable stay

  The Hotel Royal William Ascend Hotel is approximately 15 minute drive from Old Quebec.The hotel offers free parking. No breakfast, although they have a restaurant which was closed at the time of our visit, but they offered a 15% off coupon at a restaurant on the opposite side of the hotel. They room was spacious and extremely clean. My only negative comment would be that the view out of our 4th floor room was of the roof. So, if this bothers you, don't accept room #430. The price is fair compared to the hotels closer to old quebec. Other than that I highly recommend this Hotel. Would stay again.
