Newly renovated and very clean. Great breakfast and amazingly quiet despite being close to train tracks. Nice meal in the pub. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Regent Hotel in Revelstoke and had a mixed experience.The location is definitely a plus—very convenient—and there’s plenty of free parking, which made things easy. The bed was comfortable, and the gym was surprisingly well-equipped, even having TRX straps. There’s also a sauna and an outdoor hot tub, which we were looking forward to enjoying.Unfortunately, the hot tub experience wasn’t great. While we were in it, a group joined us who appeared to be either staff or friends of staff. They didn’t shower beforehand, stripped down to their underwear, and jumped right in, which was pretty off-putting.The hotel has a steakhouse attached (though it was closed during our stay) and a pub on the other side, which is convenient. Breakfast is served in a separate area in the morning. It was okay—eggs, bacon, potato wedges, fruit, yogurt (which tasted a bit bitter), granola, toast, muffins, and danishes. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. One thing that stood out in a negative way was seeing staff walking by and picking at the food while on or off shift—it just didn’t feel very professional.Our room was cleaned daily, but we did notice dark hairs left on the towel and washcloth. There was no mini fridge, which we really missed, although we managed. The safe didn’t work properly as the batteries kept falling out.Service was hit or miss. The woman at the front desk in the morning was much nicer and more professional than the one who checked us in. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was quite unpleasant—she was rude, cut me off while I was asking questions, and appeared to be sick, constantly sniffling and touching things, which made us uncomfortable enough to sanitize our key cards afterward.The hotel overall has an older, musty smell, masked with strong air fresheners. There was no coffee in the room, and the water pressure was inconsistent. To be fair, they did mention repairs were scheduled, so we had to shower and have breakfast before 9–10am.Overall, the location is good and options in Revelstoke are limited, but based on our experience, we’re not sure we would return.

Only here for 1 night and did us well. Free parking out back. Centrally located. Rooms were a bit small but comfortable. Lady on reception who checked us in was lovely. Very nice pub connected to the hotel.

A lovely Hotel

Stayed just one night as passing through on our road trip. Loved the hotel, particularly the River City 'pub' and the 112 restaurant for the evening meal. Great staff throughout including Toby the server in the pub and Zoe the waitress in the restaurant. Would be a five star review save for the poor breakfast experience, which was served in a souless room with very little choice as items not replenished and a lack of staff to keep on top of things. In summary one of the best hotels with a lovely bedroom but sadly one of the worst breakfasts in our three week trip.

My ideal outcome is you book a hotel and get the service and quality you pay for. This hotel went above and beyond. The staff all the staff we encountered were so helpful and kind. The manager must set a good example as she was also so wonderful and helpful. I said to my son I am very picky you know that when it comes to quality service and a comfortable accommodating stay. I don’t think he hears me rave that often as my standards are high. No complaints at this hotel and the breakfast that was ‘FREE’ was delicious.
