    A difficult time made much easier

    On short notice, my husband was to be at the regional hospital on a Friday for pre-op, with the procedure booked on Monday at the heart unit. I have a mobility issue so that, in combination with the weather forecast, meant we decided to travel down Thurs. and hoped to come home the following Tues. This location and choice of the King suite made our lives much, much easier. 2 rooms + 2 TVs meant we could have separate areas to rest. Everything in the room worked (including good Wifi) and the staff were extremely helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping. Having the sink in the "living room" with the microwave allowed for getting a snack without disturbing the one napping. The complimentary breakfast included lots of choices, hot and cold. There was an excellent charging station by the bed. In relation to proximity to the hospital, it was a very manageable drive (but we are quite familiar with Saint John). Also, my husband was able to take a cab to the hospital at 5:00 a.m. for the procedure since it was quite stormy when he needed to leave. Also, we were able to have take out delivered since going out to a restaurant felt like a chore. My only hint of a criticism was not having table/chairs; however, we made due with a corner table in the room and a lap desk we took with us. Also, I'm not sure where it would go if a guest needed to pull out the "pullout" couch. Thank you to the staff and we would come back without hesitation.     This was a great hotel to stay. It was renovated a few years ago and it was really nice and super clean. Would definitely stay there again.     It was an OK stay, probably not the best. The soundproofing of the rooms is clearly lacking - you can hear everything in the hallway, outside and next door. Very strange for a hotel. Front desk staff is friendly, but clueless about any information related to the area where the hotel is. I would check for better options next time

    Friendly staff. They had preprinted free maps and directions to the ferryn to NS. Breakfast was more then expected. It was easy drive to the Ferry and other restaurants.     I enjoyed my stay!

    I stayed at Travelodge in Saint John for two nights from August 20 to 22, 2025, to attend a friend’s grandfather’s funeral and do some sightseeing in the area. The staff were friendly and courteous and the room was cozy! I had a ground-level room with a door leading directly to the parking lot, which was super convenient! Keep up the great work! I will definitely consider Travelodge if I am in Saint John for an overnight stay again.
