  This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced in my years of travelling.

  Out of the hotels I’ve stayed in this is beyond unimaginable. To start off the stay, we were put in the room on the main floor. To which my boyfriend was able to find out we could access the door and unlock it from outside which made us feel extremely unsafe. We were then given a room on the second floor, to which there was no elevator which is fine, but we were not warned. We then got in the room to a terrible stench of tobacco and dust in our room after we were told it was just cleaned supposedly. We walked In and the bathroom had 6-7 gnats all over the mirror and Frame. We were shocked. Later that evening we noticed there to be a bottle of moonshine behind the counter that had a few swigs out of it. The lady at the front desk apologized for not noticing it and said she wasn’t sure whose it was. We went about our evening and slept there despite the trouble. That was a mistake. We woke up to bites on our legs from what we can assume were bed bugs. All three of us have marks along our ankles and feet. We decided to take ourselves to the ER as we are not from town and were scared of the situation. When we were stuck waiting, we called the hotel to tell them we wanted to get a refund. We were ignored by 5 phone calls before being answered. The manager was not only very defensive the minute we told him about the bed bugs, but extremely rude towards me regarding all complaints. He then told me I was accusing his staff of drinking on the job, and I apologized to HIM, for making him feel that way as that wasn’t what I said on the phone. He then continued to defend every problem we had until we brought up AHS into it. He then was willing to atleast refund us our money; but we requested a full review of the room for the hospital records. We are very upset and saddened as this was our first time in Saskatoon and now are never going to be coming back to this establishment ever again. Please make sure you check your space when you arrive that it is safe, sanitary and secure. Bill Hunter-Ave, General Manager at Comfort Suites Saskatoon, responded to this review Hello Delaney. This is the page for the Comfort Suites at 203 Bill Hunter Ave...we are a 4 story hotel with an elevator and none of our rooms have outside entrances and I have never spoken with you about any of this.Sean Peterson - General Manager

  Comfort Inn and suites Saskatoon 203 Bill Hunter AveWent to pull out the couch for the kids for sleeping and this is what we found…a giant dead ant…a couple of blood stains and one other stain…we called the front desk and told them…the guy working the front and another lady came up took a picture but wouldn’t give us another room for the night even tho they had 5 other rooms with king beds in them. He put sheets on the chair for us to change the bedding but the bedding was zippered around the mattress. We decided to leave and upon checking out they said they were only refunding back half of the room. We just checked in at like 430pm this evening and the girls have been swimming. We hadn’t even used the room yet. The lady said we can come back in the morning and talk to the manager. So back we will go! We had to pack up our belongings and our kids at 10pm and find another hotel which took a while since most of them were full. Do not use this hotel! It’s disgusting and they did not treat us good at all!

  Blood stained hide a bed mattress and toilet was broken. No one came to fix. When reported, the manager argued with me that the mattress was clean even though I had photos, then tried to tell me I left the room extra dirty, which was absolutely false. Then ignored my calls and emails and charged my credit card full price. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! I travel a LOT.

  Very quiet and enjoyable. The staff are good and located close to everything we had to visit. Definitely stay again as we frequently go to shows at the Centre next door.Breakfast is good. Although we did not use the pool, we have in the past with the grand children. They like it!!

  Stayed for the night of December 25th, 2023.Hotel is pretty basic with very small lobby area. I have stayed in Comfort Suits brand in USA and that hotel was much bigger, modernAnd looks like Suit hotel.Sofas in n lobby have seen better days and now in need of replacement, hallway carpet in need of shampooing. Thee were permanent white stains on the sofa of our room.Pool area was definitely good place for kids with water slides.More lights are required in parking area for sure. I red some reviews of car break ins and was not comfortable parking there but there were no other options available.We expected little more because this hotel not much better than the comfort Inn hotels.Average and basic.
