Location

The hotel's great location provides easy access to the most important places in the city, making it a very convenient accommodation.     We had a negative experience, but as soon as I went and spoke to reception about it they resolved the problem immediately by moving us to a different room. That is how you turn a negative review into a positive! They have really left me happy with the stay, and we would stay here again.Side note though: request a non-connecting room if you aren't staying with someone in the adjoining room. There is no soundproofing at all between the rooms and every phone call and FIVE screaming kids really become a shared experience...     I have stayed in many Hilton branded hotels over the years and I stayed in this particular one for close to a year. In that year I saw things that made me question my loyalty to the Hilton Brand. From the awful food service to the frequent price increases on food to the loss of managerial staff. There is one person of note and his name is Sonny. Since he came on bound in what title no one seems to know but apparently he is in charge of the remodel which is amazing as he has no experience in this type of work. From doing work with no permits to floods within the hotel to electrical and fiber glass abatement issues this remodel has been a nightmare and it is still going on three years later. At what point do you lose faith in a chain and simply say it is easier and healthier to spend your money at another hotel chain. There are good workers there and I specifically mean the front end workers but they are constantly being micro managed by the man who is in charge of the remodel. I know it makes a lot of sense doesn't it. There head chef or should I say head apprentice chef is not even a red seal journeyman but the prices do not reflect this. There is so many things wrong with this place that I will never set foot on this property again. If this is the benefits of being a diamond member in the Hilton chain then they can keep there points.     Wonderful customer service, comfortable beds and convenient location. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel was undergoing a refresh, so would be even better next time.
