    Nicely updated and clean rooms. Only issues were that bathroom door won’t close properly, and floor between 1st and 2nd levels not soundproof, I.e. awoken by someone above us very early in the morning. Breakfast was great.

    Staff all excellent, check in good but the place is very dated with brown carpets and walls throughout.Beds were comfortable however walls and floors were very thin and provided no sound deadening.Free breakfast is always welcome, but the powdery eggs and bacon were not great.This wasn’t a cheap hotel but there isn’t great choice in Gander.     Convenient location...poor breakfast buffet

    We stayed two nights with a bus tour.The hotel is convenient to the highway and the rooms were comfortable. Beds were comfortable.The breakfast buffet was just awful.. few choices, small space for too many people. No fruit at all.The shower was barely warm at times.     Decent hotel, right on the Trans Canada Highway

    I spent one night in this generic hotel alongside the Trans Canada Highway.The person working the front desk was friendly & helpful and gave me a room I could park my motorcycle right outside the door. My large room had two entrances, one exterior one interior.Generic isn't a negative term, I'd just this isn't a hotel I'll remember a week from now.The complimentary breakfast is what you'd expect, nothing special, but it'll get you out the door.Adjacent to hotel is a Jungle Jim's Eatery, a dinner place with a large varied menu. There is also a fast food chicken place a few doors down in the other direction.     WAYNE is the best.

    Two nights ago we stayed at the the Comfort Inn in Gander and Wayne who was manning the front desk was soo helpful. When he saw that I had physical issues he quickly grabbed a large suitcase and showed me to our room. Then he proceeded to point out a parking spot at the back of the hotel which made it so much more easier to access our vehicle. Once settled in he called us to make sure everything was tickets boo. We were so impressed with his service but I am realizing that the hospitality shown by Wayne is typical of most Newfoundlanders.
