Excellent hotel, front desk staff especially Sam were brilliant and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend the breakfast package as it and service were top notch.

I loved the room, I loved the location near all the restaurants, I loved the view of the harbour and the sunrise and I loved the girl who checked me in (think she was called Lisa?).I loved almost everything apart from the fact that breakfast doesn't start until 8am. Seriously. 8am! I've not stayed in any other hotel anywhere in the world where there is no breakfast before 8am. I was staying on business, left at 7:45am and got no breakfast.If you plan on staying here for a holiday and don't plan on waking up too early, you'll love this place. If you need to leave before 8am - there are other options in the town which might work better for you.

Room was lovely, clean and great view of the Harbour but still close to the airport. Many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Husband loved the pillows.

My second stay at the Doubletree and it was excellent....I had a clean pleasant room with and excellent view of the harbor ..A special thank you to Sam and Anne at reception and accolades to Val and Daria for their warm , pleasant service at the Sparo..See you all again in 2026 !!!!

Had a nice room, well cleaned, good view of the harbour, great location, but ......nothing special. Staff were friendly, but the restaurant is not run by the hotel, and no bottled water replenished daily, and the bar shows old black and whites!Needs something to raise the standard to compare with other Hilton's I have stayed in.
