    Friendly staff but needs a thorough cleaning and exterminator

    I’m currently staying at this hotel for a work conference. Check-in was quick, and the staff are very friendly. However, the cleanliness of the hotel is concerning, there is visible dust and debris in the public washrooms, on the rugs, bedrooms, hallways and around various fixtures in the hotel. I also noticed bugs on the washroom walls, and we saw cockroaches in our room last night. Many of us did not sleep well knowing there are unwanted roommates staying with us.     It was fine. That’s it, fine. The AC didn’t seem to fully cool, there was a weird humidity in the whole room and hallway. There was also somewhat of a smell, like somebody had cooked something last week and it was lingering. Like other reviews, it didn’t seem like the room had been thoroughly cleaned. The good parts: check-in was easy, staff were polite, parking was easy.     The rooms were dated and not fully cleaned. The breakfast is quite expensive and slow. After waiting over 40 minutes, I had to cancel my order. Unacceptable for a weekday morning when most guests were there on business.     So much for the brand name.

    I’ve visited this hotel for several years now and each visit adds more disappointment. From fowl smelling rooms to virtually non-existent wifi to being ignored by staff. Every time I’m here I have to remind them I’d been here several times and remind them to add my rewards to the account. The front staff are generally too busy to say hello or good morning even with no customer to serve. Customer service no longer exists I guess. Shame.     Friendly staff, decent room, horrendous gym if that’s what you want to call it

    Staff are friendly, rooms are decent a little outdated. Shower is horrendous in the king suite. Above all the gym has to be the worst gym I have ever experienced on the road for business. No Dumbells in a gym Is literally mind blowing to me. If you like to hit the gym when you are on the road do not choose this hotel. I will not be booking this hotel again unfortunately.
