    I was surprised and delighted by the room. It was fresh with a comfortable bed and chairs. Everything was spotless, inside and outside. The people were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. The location was great for accessing the city, near the airport and events. The breakfast was basic but had a nice variety of cereals, toast, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. and the coffee was delicious. The added bonus of being pet friendly made out stay great.

    When we booked a pet friendly room, we weren’t told there would be an extra free for staying with our cat. Then, the floor of the room was very dusty and you could feel it walking barefoot. The cable TV box would not turn on. There was no water pressure in the shower and no hair conditioner. Oh, and the heat was on in August, so when I turn the AC on, the room wouldn’t cool until I figured it out.

    First of all. There are no issues with the staff. Our check-in went smoothly. The lobby is sad. There is random equipment sitting all around. Just didn't feel welcoming. The room is very outdated. Just dreary. But the beds were very comfortable and had nice linens. The rooms could use a nice fresh coat of paint and clean up the baseboards. Breakfast was not what we expected, even at a Travelodge. Cereal, some less than fresh apples, and some small homemade looking muffins. Thankfully, we were traveling and had eggs on board. Please do better. You could have the cutest motel. Motels are back in style!

    Bed was a bit soft. I had to get the clerk to show me how to work the 2 TV remotes. One just for volume and the other for changing the channels. This place is not a modern Travelodge and was originally another named hotel years ago. It is right off the TransCanada and very close to Irvings where you can gas up and get a great meal in this very large highway stop over. Everything you need is there. You get a continental breakfast here. You can park right up to your door. On the night I arrived it was raining like mad and thank goodness for being able to get near the door with the truck. You can walk through one door to unload your stuff and out the other door that will take you to the hallway to the front desk. Been here twice before. A nice stopover. Not luxury but it does the job for the night.

    Easy access from the highway. The bed was very comfotable after a long drive. The coffee was surprisingly good as was the selection of items available for breakfast. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to stop here again.
