Location

This hotel is located in the very centre of Toronto, not far from theatres, bars, restaurants and a bus station. The nearest underground/ overground station is about 2 minutes away and the Easton Centre shopping mall is about 5 minutes. The train station, Union Station, is about 20 m away. The CN Tower is roughly a 25-minute walk or a 10-minute drive.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 27-storey building with a lift and 1590 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. While the adults swim a few laps in the indoor pool, children can splash around in the kids' pools. Pure relaxation in the hot tub, fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis, a gym, table tennis, billiards, a sauna, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.     No house keeping in the four nights we stayed The hotel focused on turn around so the guests are the last to receive service Also no heat in the rooms as they had changed the heating system to summer even though the outside temperature was 11cIt’s a very big hotel and the service was very disappointing you have so many better options in TO

    I definitely wouldn’t stay there again. I think it was priced too high for what I got. It was like they were trying to be so fancy but dropped the ball on simple stuff. Scale back from trying to be the Ritz and just hit simple Holiday Inn stuff, they will do much better.

    I wanted to provide feedback regarding my recent birthday stay and group booking at Chelsea Hotel.While I made the best of the trip and enjoyed celebrating with family and friends, I can honestly say I would not choose to stay here again based on the overall experience.I booked approximately 12 rooms well in advance and traveled with a group of 24 guests. As someone bringing a group of that size, I expected a level of hospitality and communication that reflected the value of the booking. Instead, the experience often felt transactional rather than welcoming.Leading up to the stay, communication was difficult. I repeatedly reached out regarding meeting room arrangements and had trouble receiving responses. However, once someone connected with me in person and payment was involved, contracts and charges moved very quickly. It created the impression that collecting payment was prioritized over supporting the guest experience.There were also several room issues among my guests. Some were minor, including heating and air conditioning concerns. Others were more serious. My aunt and uncle were assigned a room that was already occupied, which was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable.I had also hoped to host a screening for a television premiere connected to a friend in our group. I was informed the television systems were managed by a third party. Even after paying for a meeting room, additional costs appeared just to use a television screen, and after following up by email I received no response.Most disappointing was the overall feeling my group walked away with. This was my birthday weekend, and instead of feeling welcomed, many of us felt like we were an inconvenience. With a group of 24 guests staying at your property, I hoped for a more guest focused experience.I share this feedback because I believe group bookings should feel appreciated and supported, and unfortunately that was not our experience.

    Really disapointed by this hotel! 2 nights for almost 1000$ and instant coffee ! Really guys comon! The shower was dripping non stop and the toilet flushes by itself every 10 minutes... the manager only knows pre learned sentences and was not able to use logic to help us. Never going back and dont recommand.
