    Disappointing Stay – Outdated Rooms and Poor Service

    I had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Garden Inn, especially considering the price and brand reputation.The TV software was shockingly outdated—like something from the 90s—with no support for Netflix, YouTube, or any modern streaming options. When you’re traveling with kids, this becomes a major inconvenience. We checked in expecting a comfortable stay, but instead found issues like stains and outdated in-room features right away.What made it worse is that, as customers, we rely on the Hilton brand and expect a certain standard. We shouldn’t have to check every small detail ourselves.The service experience was even more disappointing. When I requested cutlery, I was asked to come down to reception because there was no staff available to deliver it—and I was given plastic cutlery. The next day, when I asked again, I received only one plate and takeaway boxes. Only after expressing frustration was I offered ceramic plates, and even then I was told to “handle them with care.” As a Hilton member, this felt quite embarrassing and unprofessional.Another issue was basic amenities. Complimentary water bottles, which are usually expected at check-in, were only offered later after I raised concerns—and by then, it didn’t matter.I was told that my concerns would be escalated to a manager, but at checkout there was no acknowledgment—no apology, no thanks, and no request for feedback. That lack of basic customer service was very disappointing.For over $450 for a two-night stay, this was far from a premium experience. I’ve received much better service at lower-priced hotels.Overall, I would not recommend this property and would not stay here again. Hilton really needs to improve both service standards and staff training at this location.

    I have visited a handful of times and amazingly it gets even better than a few years back. Likely the STAFF is the best feature, and even with some changes I found Manpreet and Asha and Maria ready to assist in all situations. I still love the food and the comfortable rooms. Free parking is appreciated and I never heard a noise problem anywhere. Such a great hotel the manager should congratulate himself but he is too busy running around making sure every guest is completely satisfied and he deserves TOP MARKS Sandra K

    My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - Toronto/Brampton, Ontario, Canada. We were there as a large group for a wedding and the staff were amazing. A special thanks to Raj for going the extra mile for our family and friends. The servicing staff were always smiling and helpful, we even heard a beautiful singing voice from one of the cleaning members. Thank you for a great stay

    Do not book this sad hotel unless you are crashing out and this is the last resort. No breakfast, 30.00 to park, and when you book a king suite the largest room they had for 4. You can't have a rollaway bed due to fire code restrictions? I have traveled with my kids along time as a family of 5. I've never had an issue fitting a roll away in a suite( and its 25.00 per night ). There is no door between the bedroom and living room area and the bedroom has an ikea 5.00 lamp and not other lights aside from reading lights that are tiny that are attached to the headboard. To be fair it is clean but that's about where any pro's end.Once I got in the room I immediately canceled our second night and rebooked at the embassy suites. Last resort only. Trust me.
