Location

Conveniently situated in the heart of the high-tech capital of Canada and close to 3 major highways, the hotel is in the centre of it all. Toronto's Lester B. Pearson Airport is about 30 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 83 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Terrible pet odor

    Chose this hotel because it was close to where we had an appointment the following day. Check in was quick and easy, room nice size, unfortunately there was a very strong pet odor. Went to front desk to request different room only to be told nothing available. Their solution was to give me liquid spray room freshener that didn't eliminate or even mask the smell it just made it smell like a wet dog instead. Think twice before booking this hotel.

    We are seniors from USA and it was the first time not staying at a major chain due to a last minute booking for a funeral. Main reason was this Inn’s proximity to the funeral home to avoid Toronto traffic. From the time we entered the front desk to the checking out time, we were delighted with our experience - friendliness of front desk, cleaning staff, restaurant service with total convenience, food quality, rates, parking, and room service.     Walk into the room and it smells like humidity. The bathroom had hairs in the tub and floor did not look swept or mopped. I asked them to clean but no cleaning fluid was used and the bathtub was untouched. Just the floor got swept. There are black spots along sink caulking and between baseboard and wall paper indicating mold which I could easily scrub away or bleach could have cleaned it but it felt like cleaning staff just doesn’t use it. They came the second day to clean the room but they didn’t make the beds and the bathroom again didn’t smell like cleaning products were used. This cannot be rated 3 stars. Looks nice but I’m glad my relatives with allergies or asthma were not here. We were booked here in a large group for 3 nights and this was similar in the other rooms, some have worse smell. The breakfast was cold breakfast and very basic but other 3 stars offer at least eggs and sausage or something like that, make your own waffles, limited buffet but hot food.

    We returned for 9 days. Beds worn. Backs hurting. Mother 90 w/ walker. Room far for her to café. Washer/dryer bad. Use laundromat. Called HO for points accumulated denied. Moved room. 6 out of 9 bad. Ask credit. No. We gave good reviews on staff from other visits. Not friendly anymore. Loyal guests. Treated bad.

    I found this to be a pleasant place to stay with a European flair. The price was much better than in surrounding areas. Parking was convenient. The lobby and area were nicely decorated. Our room was "big city small" but very adequate. Bed and shower were good. Good charging outlets. Front desk staff was professional. Note that breakfast was continental style (including oatmeal and fixings for a cold morning) and there was an extra charge for more. Suggestion: The breakfast room staff could have been friendlier and more helpful. For example, they could have smiled and said "Good morning. The continental breakfast is on the left, and on the right (behind the bar) we have coffee, yogurt and juice. Please put your ticket in the basket. Would you like to upgrade to a full breakfast?" Instead, they were busy with their phones. The coffee not hot and they said it was made earlier in the day and we could reheat our coffee ourselves in a microwave."
