Great location, but I knew my neighbours a bit too well

    rating07 May 2026

If you want to be close to the airport, this Quality Inn delivers. The rooms were also surprisingly clean despite being very outdated and in dire need of repair. However, be prepared to share your stay with the people next door—literally. The walls are so thin that we were treated to a full night of their TV and a very loud 'private session' at 1:30 in the morning. It felt like a shared suite rather than a private room. Unless you enjoy hearing every detail of your neighbour's night, you might want to wait for a renovation.

    Do not stay here!!!

    rating03 Mar 2026

The first room I was given (116) had no TV service and the toilet was running on. After addressing this with the front desk, a gentleman came to fix it. He said he couldn't fix it and I would just have to deal with it. I went back to the front desk and they moved me to another room (118). The 2nd room also had no TV service and the toilet was running on. I went back to front desk and they sent another gentleman to come to fix it. He said he couldn't but would send someone that could replace the part. The gentleman came and the toilet running stopped but the toilet was leaking on the floor. He said he couldn't fix the leaking and to keep adding towels. I went to get into bed and checked under sheets. There was a large pee stain on the mattress pad (picture taken) that had not been washed. After being very disgusted, I switched to the other bed as it was now late and I had a middle of the night flight. I was told by the front desk there would be a discount applied when I checked out upon return trip. Upon return, we called the shuttle from the airport and were told first that we had to be at the specific pick-up site before we could request the pick up. So, we had to call back when we were there (3 minutes later). We called again and were told the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes. After 20 minutes we called again. We were told it would be 3 more minutes. We called again after 10 minutes. They told us there was a major accident on the highway - so sorry. We checked the maps and there were no accidents. We continued calling and kept getting different excuses. It took 1 1/2 hours for the shuttle to arrive. We stood outside in the middle of the night (3 a.m.) in the freezing cold waiting for this shuttle with a driver who lied to us multiple times. Upon arrival at the hotel, we went inside to check out. I had to ask for the receipt as none was provided. There was no discount on the invoice. I questioned the clerk about the invoice and he said he had to go to another computer. I was then given a different invoice with the same total. I called Choice Hotels to lodge a complaint. They said the hotels are individually owned (a franchise) so they could do nothing. They offered points so I could have a free night stay at this hotel again. I explained I would never stay there again. I tried to escalate the issue and they refused.

Uncomfortable, but I booked very late

    rating21 Dec 2025

It was a bit uncomfortable but, I would not stay here for the following reasons. The toilet was wayyy too low and hard to use do to being so low. The shower was very slippery and they don't have a non slip mat. There were two beds and they were somewhat comfortable, but the pillows are absolutely too soft and the windows in the room do not open. People were smoking in their rooms both cigarettes and marijuana and the smoke came inti our room and it smelled awful. We notified the front desk who said they also smelled the smoke but that the hotel is smoke-free and he would walk around the floors to investigate. Also the housekeeper was not so nice. Thought we had our do not disturb sign on, she was banging on the door and insisted on coming in to clean. We asked if she could come back in 10 minutes as we were changing and getting ready to leave but she still insisted on coming in at that time. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The breakfast had some basics such as scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, yogurt, sausage, bagels, bread, waffles, muffins, tea, coffee, juice but there were no veggies or healthier options so i just had a yogurt and some tea. The signage to the hotel was out so it was difficult to see the entrance. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from the airport so that is a plus, but our stay was not comfortable so I cannot recommend it at this time.

    A Masterclass in Disappointment

    rating16 Nov 2025

If you’re looking for a place that perfectly captures the feeling of regret, exhaustion, and the quiet realization that you should’ve spent your money anywhere else, then by all means, book a stay at this hotel. Walking through the doors felt less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a cautionary tale. The room I got was a stunning display of mediocrity—a symphony of blandness that somehow managed to be both outdated and uninspired. The décor looked like it hadn’t been updated since flip phones were high tech, and the overall atmosphere made me question every life choice that led me to that moment. Comfort clearly didn’t make the guest list.As for cleanliness… let’s just say the room appeared to have been cleaned by someone who gave up halfway and decided to let the universe handle the rest. I didn’t feel unsafe, exactly, but I didn’t feel “safe” either—just a lingering sense that everything had seen better days, and had given up striving for them. The staff? They weren’t rude, but they carried the same defeated energy as the hotel itself—as if they, too, were held hostage by the beige walls and flickering lights. Service felt more like a reluctant obligation than an effort to make guests feel welcome. And the overall vibe? Dreary. Lifeless. The type of stay that makes you think, “Next time, I’m sleeping in my car.”If the goal was to provide a memorably bad experience, then congratulations—it succeeded brilliantly. I left with my sanity intact, but only barely.Save yourself the disappointment. There is nothing quality about this Quality Hotel & Suite. Anytime spent here is one you won’t recover from easily.

    Never again

    rating16 Nov 2025

One of the worst hotel experiences. We are not overly picking and prefer cheaper rates over huge amenities. This place was a mistake. As soon as we walked in there was a large plumbing leak pouring from ceiling. Carpet in hallway completed soaked. Hard to get bags around without going under the water flow. Get into our room and the light was flickering rapidly. We asked for maintenance to change the bulb. We were moved rooms instead. Got to new room, hot water would not work. Got that sorted and conditioner in shower was empty. Obviously left unchecked for a lengthy time to not get topped up at all. The one bed felt like it was going to collapse every time you rolled over. Almost wanted to leave and check in at the Holiday Inn next door. Staff were friendly but place needs some major work and maintenance.
