  Stay away unless it’s a last resort

  **Hotel Review:**I recently stayed at the Super 5 Inn and from the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong stench of old cigarettes and filth that lingered throughout my stay. The furniture was stained and grimy, with questionable spots on the chairs and even the walls. The paint on the doors was peeling, adding to the overall neglected and run-down appearance of the place.It felt like the hotel had been left to deteriorate, and the lack of care was evident in every corner. If you’re looking for comfort or cleanliness, this is definitely not the place to stay. Even for a budget hotel, the conditions were unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.   The inn was a godsend as all had been kicked out of the airport in Toronto at around 9pm because of flights grounded by thunderstorms over the north-eastern section of the continent. Accommodation, apparently, was not provided by the airlines because of such circumstances.A quick trawl online got me this place which I was able to book quickly on Booking.com for just over £100. I was tired..without Canadian currency...and wanted to sleep.The inn is about Canadian$42 from the airport...around 15/20 minutes away just as you enter Mississauga. It doesn't scream comfort to you from the outside but the mirrored-walled room was very acceptable, clean and felt safe. I had a room with a large comfortable bed with a huge hot tub right next to the bed in the room! The facilities were clean and there was a shower room attached. Across the rather busy road outside there was a good restaurant which served great food. There's also a petrol station nearby which offered snacks etc.I had a good night's sleep there. The gentleman in the lobby kindly phoned for a taxi for me in the morning and he was very pleasant in talking about Toronto's places to see. Even though my stop in Canada was forced upon me I found my experience here to be very positive and as a result I'd recommend the Super 5 Inn as a place to stay, even though the location is on the outskirts of Toronto.   Hotel: super 5 inn, Mississauga Booking via booking.com (mobile app) Cctv cameras present on-site. The receptionist gave me the key card to room 104 as assigned to my booking.(The receptionist appeared to be distracted by her personal ongoing phone call). When I opened the door via the access card provided to room 104. I witnessed a couple in middle of an SEX act, completely naked. As soon we had eye contact I said sorry and immediately closed the door. But the couple got super angry and started abusing for next 10 min... I said, hey I did not mean to interfere but this was the access card given to me by hotel reception. The abusive language, physical intimidation was an inch away to getting myself into a physical fight and potentially risking my life. I chose to stay calm and walk back to the reception and asked the same receptionist lady to reverify my booking room number. This time she gave me room 225. In the mean time, the couple from room 104 came to the reception and started to yell at the receptionist and me... the occupants of room 104 threatened that the same will happen to me ..., now they know my room number aswell and it was quite possible they would be taking revenge.Ignoring to fight back I chose to walk back to room 225. Until 3AM I could not sleep because they could show up anytime and start to fight... The hotel manager, management took No action to get the situation under control, no action from hotel management to inform me that I am safe or take precautionary step of changing my room or advising me they have compensated $50 to abusive couple. There was no communication from the hotel management at all. In the morning, during checkout I informed the night was very bad and hotel management has done nothing to calm the situation down. Again, there response was sloppy and no concrete resolution. I informed the supervisor on duty, I have not been given a resolution and I will be taking this up in writing. I booked this hotel to have a good time catching up with my old friend but instead was thrown into a hostile situation risking our lives. The stay was mechanical pay $170 and get out next day. No signs of hospitality or concern. Moral of the story: you are on your own. Carry safety equipment to protect yourself when situation goes out of control and management will be nowhere to be seen.   Sweetest People, Cute Hotel

  After a terrible flight, our trip being delayed 2 days, and being stranded in the Toronto airport, the Super 5 Inn was the perfect little getaway. The sweetest staff, coziest bed, and cutest little balcony! We appreciate the hospitality, and we enjoyed our 2 nights with some free movies offered on the TV. We had forgotten to get receipts from the hotel to get reimbursed by our airline, and the hotel staff was nice enough to go back, find the transaction, and email us our invoice within a matter of minutes.   Garbage hotel glass in bed no room service for bedding if required. Surrounded in cracks heads.

  I gave this a one star but should be a -500. My son found glass in his bed, the cops were there 24/7 so you cannot sleep and then in the am the fire alarm goes off for hours. After the maintenance starts construction at 7:30am. The first night we were evacuated for a gas smell. The manager is unprofessional and called us liars when we complained. The building has crackheads that live there and very scary to go outside at night time. I do mot any families use this hotel it is unsanitary and unsafe.
