Location

This hotel is located in Scarborough, close to Highway 401 and Markham Road. Toronto Zoo is 5 minutes drive away and it is just 20 minutes by car to Ontario's natural science centre. The centre of Toronto and Hockey Hall of Fame are both 30 minutes from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 99 single rooms and 56 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a car hire service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including a gym and a spa.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide variety of dishes (dinner as a set menu).

    Old but clean hotel with lovely accommodating staff

    It is definitely an older property however it is well up kept. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating (Thank you again for a late check out!). Rooms are small but cozy. And the restaurant downstairs has absolutely delicious and fresh food at very affordable prices.     Beware of the bed bugs!

    After the first night staying at this hotel my wife woke up with what we thought were spider bites on her face and hands. It was confirmed today by a doctor that the bites she has on her body are from bed bugs! The hotel was not very clean and the decor is very tired. The elevator needed repairing and should not have been in operation due to the audible warning message that was being played each time people entered the car. We will never be returning to this hotel and will be providing feedback to anyone who asks us what our experience was like.     Worst sleep ever in a large hotel chain.

    There were noisy people in the room across from me slamming their doors all night. Two reports to the night staff never resolved the problem. Next morning on check out the manager wasn’t even there for me to address my concerns with. I asked for a call back from him and never received one. This was the worst sleep, and the most lack of concern and follow up from a large chain hotel that I have ever experienced.     Okay place to stay !

    Nice hotel. Lots of parking. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is adequate. Good sports bar attached to the hotel. Pool and jacuzzi is okay. Hopefully it's available for you when you're there. Exercise room is there but used as a storage room.     Hotel is in an excellent location, 401 & Markham Rd. Access to the highway in less than 2 minutes. Plenty of good eating in the area and only 5 minutes from the Scarborough Town Centre where there is the LRT to connect you with the subway.
