    Nice older motel

    Nice clean older motel. Quiet even though near main road. Rooms are large and we had a bed in the main room and a seperate in the bedroom. Check in was easy and quick. There is an indoor pool but you have to go outside to get to and from it. We were there for a hockey tournament and it was a short drive to the rink.

    Ahhh..the Glenwood Inn..it is a bit like staying with family for us. We have stayed here a few times over the last 40+ years!! Many changes..all good.Very clean, very comfy and great people working there. Kudos to Tyler (and the handsome dog) for being so friendly and helpful. Yep..a family place.Thank you.

    Great little hotel in the Kootenays. My room was clean and had everything I wanted. Microwave, coffee maker, shower, little fridge, TV and a comfy bed and pillows.The staff was super friendly. To my surprise they had a hot tub and pool right behind the lobby area. There's also had a washer and dryer for guests, free of charge!Dogs are welcome too.Can't wait for the summer when the outside pool opens. This hotel will be a regular stop for me from now on.

    The price was the most reasonable upon checking for accommodations in Trail. Staff was friendly, with a good in check in and out. The room was impressive. Nicely updated, clean, and spacious. Thick white towels and newer bedding. I have pet allergies, but was not bothered by the pet-friendly rooms. Parking right in front of the room was convenient. And even though the motel is on the main drag / highway, the traffic noise was minimal. I slept well. Good stay.

    Couldn’t reserve a non-pet room

    If you have dog allergies or don’t want to stay in a room that has housed dogs, this property is not a good choice. I made a reservation but had to cancel because my husband is very allergic to dogs and they couldn’t guarantee a non-dog room. Apparently most of their rooms accommodate dogs.
