    If visiting Rossland, B.C., I can highly recommend Best Western’s Sure Stay Motel. . Formerly The Scotsman’s and under cared for has been upgraded to Best Western’s standards As the photos will attest the motel is clean, a welcoming manager, an adequate continental breakfast, safe and quiet. All aspects of our room has been upgraded and upon personal inspection. I found no mold or dust whatsoever ever. Highly recommended.

    Just awful! Given a room that was not cleaned! Second room stunk! Like, really smelly from the air conditioning (our guess). Threadbare towels. TV didn’t work (tried contacting the front desk but no one answered the phone)Not enjoyable in the least! If we were not as tired as we were, we would have left!

    Dirty rooms. Hair everywhere. Dirt stick on walls. Smelly rooms, maybe the carpet. Blood stains on bed soaked through to the sheets. One female staff member rude and appeared like she hated her job. Had to ask to have continental breakfast refilled,always out. Dont know if they were cheap or ill prepared for the number of guests they had. Don’t eat the bread. The male runs his fingers through his hair and then picks up the bread to put in a bag. Cherri is exceptionally nice. A positive, the beds are actually comfy. We bought our own linens to put on top as we didn’t want their sheets and top covers near our bodies. The hot tub is okay but they cut out all the views with the way they put up walls. Some days it was pretty dirty.

    Disappointing! Was the cheapest accommodation in the area at the time of booking $500 for 3 nights, Rooms were dirty, found garbage under the bed, body hair in the sink, shower walls, tub and toilet. Water temp would fluctuate from freezing to scalding, flat/old pillows, unhelpful staff, in rooms info cards out of date and inaccurate.

    Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good (coffee, tea, juice, toast, muffins, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, apples). Wifi was good. No housekeeping over a 3 night stay.
