Location

This hotel is centrally situated in the heart of Vancouver. A wide selection of shopping and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. It is an ideal base for visiting the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Robson Street shopping area and Stanley Park. The fantastic beach is about a 30-minute walk away, and a bus stop and a train station are located approximately 1 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 295 non-smoking rooms located in an 11-storey main building and a 14-storey auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, room service and a laundry service. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked.

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in the indoor pool. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym and a sauna.

Various dining options are available, including a café, a bar and a pub. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Stayed at new Sandman Hotel. Room was nice, renovated and big, very good for us. We had very good time at Moxies, our server was perfect.But we little bit worried about hallway. We stay on 3rd floor and it was very dirty. Many trash in hallway, food on floor, and big garbage bags near lift. We stay 2 days and nobody clean it. That was not good.     Amazing Hotel! Best in Downtown Vancouver

    I recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel Vancouver Downtown and had a great experience. The rooms have been newly renovated and feel modern, clean, and very comfortable—definitely a big upgrade.One thing that really stood out was the front desk staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and made check-in smooth and easy. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, from the rooms to the common areas, which made the stay even more enjoyable.I also loved the amenities—the pool and gym were both well-maintained and a great bonus during my stay.Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in downtown Vancouver.
