    Very clean, great staff, and spacious rooms!

    Lovely motel. Very clean, and convenient to Nanaimo Harbour. Booked online and so we ended up in a room facing the street. Very noisy traffic throughout the night. Requested a room change and they switched us to the opposite side of the motel. Ah...a peaceful night's sleep. On site parking, breakfast room downstairs, and very friendly front desk staff.

    We decided to try this hotel for our last couple days after our initial choice of hotels earlier in the week upon arrival in Nanaimo was disappointing. They were quite accommodating as my wife wanted a balcony, hopefully with an ocean view. Upon arrival we realized were on the top floor with what is likely one of the few with that ocean view. The room was very large, 2 beds, 2 large comfy chairs and even with that there is room for another full bed. Everything was secure with passes required to get in, use the elevator or access the laundry area with its ice machine. Very clean everywhere. The breakfast is free and a full breakfast --- reheated cheese omelets, sausages, waffles, choice of cereals, and lots of bread choices. We would stay with them again. Only negative was I had to report to them that the balcony railing was only anchored at either end with nothing at all in the middle post s we limited our time on the balcony.

    When an overnight stay in Nanaimo is required, this is our go to place. Convenient location, ample parking, large clean rooms, good bed, nice breakfast and reasonable price. Don't know about amenities, don't use them for overnight stays.

    Sufficient for 1 night but needs some TLC

    For a clean, safe and quiet night this motel was sufficient but not somewhere I'd return to. The whole place feels tired and like it's in desperate need of some TLC and a spruce up (even the garden beds surrounding the motel were overgrown and full of weeds). The room was clean but sheets are very thin and things overdue with fixing (e.g. swelling in the wood at the bottom of the bathroom door, old feeling). Breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. Everyone working at the motel were really friendly. Good for a cheaper stay but also away from the centre of town.

    Stayed here on points so I can't attest to the price, location is decent though regarding distance to downtown. You can take thr more direct but unpleasant busy road which was about 15minutes to old town. Or, take the waterfront back which was a little longer but nice. My biggest problem was the cleanliness of the room. We immediately found stuff in our fridge from the last guest. Then, when laying down to sleep, I felt something hard and pulled out a key card in some plastic lanyard in my pillow case. I don't think the cases had been changed. After that it made it pretty hard to fall asleep and when asked for a late checkout I was denied, even for a 30min or hour one. They were not sold out the night before so I know there were rooms available for that days arrivals
