    Dirty rooms.

    We checked in. 1st room was less than clean, potato chips on couch. Moved rooms. 2nd room, also dirty. Chip seal, cookie chunk, plastic wrapper and other debris on floor. Disappointed at low level of cleaning. Broken PC on window. Went thru 3 remotes b4 got 1 that works. Only 1 staff on shift, who knew next to withing to help us. No mngr on shift when we checked in. Both ev chargers broken, the tesla one exposed wires, making it a safety concern. Smoking section beside disabled parking stalls, making it unpleasant to use them. Bar n grill attached doesn't start serving pizza until 7pm. No alcohol service, currently (lol). Disappointed as Gold members with thus experience.

    Staff at check in seemed dismissive. Room drawers were sticky and had crumbsSheets were “clean” but old and had shadow stains Again pillows were “clean” but old and broken down. Bathroom was clean and good. They did not make any effort it seemed to accommodate our booking request for a ground floor. Internet takes time to log on. But did work well

    Cost $300/night. Flowers in front were dead. The bathtub drain did not work. Halls were covered with white drywall dust. Had to ask for floors to be vacuumed. Next day, floors were covered with white again.

    More Western than Best Western as unfortunately its best days are behind it

    I drove from Alaska to southern BC and this was one of four Best Westerns I stayed at and was the least appealing. In past visits to Vernon I stayed at the other Best Western and booked this one by mistake. As mentioned by others, the lobby was being renovated so they are trying, but I cannot rate them on what may happen in the future but how it was during my stay. It was noisy, dusty and they stopped the elevator one night to replace the tile in it, so not good for people on the 4th floor. The front desk was nice, but also mentioned do not offer water go gold/diamond members and you have to ask. Carpet in the hall was worn and loose in the middle so made it difficult to walk on, the room carpet was very dark color and old so hard to say how clean it was and I hate the high bath tub in the room, it is hard to get in and out of, it should be replaced with a walk in shower like most hotels. Overall, it is in a decent location though it is not possible to get directly on the highway without circling the block, a good value and had comfortable beds. Not sure I would stay here again for future visits. I did get contacted by the manager after leaving a survey and as I mentioned above they do seem to care, just in this snapshot in time it is lacking.

    Renovation going on. Lobby was very dusty . Breakfast no longer served (no free coffee or tea) discount at restaurant instead. Squeeze bottles in bathroom don't work due to spacing in the shower. 3 bottles with no ability to grab the middle bottle and get the conditioner out! Room was clean. Likely be nice once Renovation is complete.
