Location

This hotel is located in the heart of Whistler Village, seconds from entertainment, nightlife and shopping venues and fantastic dining. It is 3 minutes from the bus station and 10 minutes' walk to the cross country ski run and there are woods, rivers and parks in the close surrounding area.

Facility

37 non-smoking rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service and a laundry service. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. The sun loungers are perfect for soaking up some sun. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the complex offers cycling/mountain biking. Water sports enthusiasts are offered canoeing. With skiing, tobogganing fun and snowboarding opportunities, the complex offers the perfect base from which to enjoy winter sports or just a relaxing winter holiday. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A wellness area with a sauna is available at the holiday village. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

    Say No to queen loft .

    Booked queen loft for the family with a toddler .there is no access to the elevator. Had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs . Don’t book the loft if you have a family . Our Mountainside building has an elevator that can access every floor, and the loft rooms there are larger, with full kitchens and two washrooms. The Villageside building was built without an elevator, and due to the architecture is was impossible for us to add one that reaches every floor.     Recent Stay at Whistler - another hotel next time - "Not the Executive Inn at Whistler"

    Older Hotel - needs upgrade - room was ok but needs attention in bathrooms, etc. No heat in room on Aug 19th - only AC - small lobby - elevator needs a vacuum only good price was $30 for UG parking room over priced for what u get !!! another Hotel next time to Whistler Serge Schnob, General Manager at Executive Inn At Whistler Village, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.     The bed was really comfy, the room felt extra spacious with the split level and balcony, no complaints at all. Which was fortunate because we spent our vacation lying in bed with the flu! Disappointing that we couldnt take the gondola rides but we were grateful for the prime location and proximity to shopping and food. Will gladly return!     Great location right on the Village stroll, park the car and walk everywhere lots of restaurants and shops close to the gondolas to head up the mountain, the front desk staff were great fast friendly and efficient, we had a two floor loft suite it was clean quiet and comfortable, we did the parking package which included a reserved parking spot directly under the hotel and a $25 gas card per night.     The reason for this 5 star review is because we were given a free upgrade due to some maintenence issues. Instead of the regular loft we booked we got a loft suite with the hot tub balcony (Room 201)! They also comped our parking, so if I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would.Now, to give a run down of the hotel, the bed was very comfortable, but the pull out couch bed was not. It was very short, a bit rigid and my feet dangled off ( I'm only 5'2). The sheets and pillows made up for it. The kitchenette was a good size which had everything except an oven, dishwasher, and microwave. It does have a fridge and a double top stove though. The bathroom was a good size with plenty extra towels in the drawer under the sink. Water pressure was a bit on the lighter side. There is an air conditioner on the main floor and a fan and heater on the second floor. There is plenty closet space. The balcony was a good size with enough room to pull the cover off the hot tub. The hot tub is older, but can fit up to 6 people and has an light display option. The balcony overlooks the main Whistler stroll. There are approx 6 window that reach to the high ceiling, I only realized on the day we were leaving that they have 2 sets of blinds, a transparent shade one and a black out one. The black-out blinds would have been useful as the outside lights keep things rather bright at night. There is a fireplace and cable TV, but we did not use either. The hotel is older but I would consider it well maintained. The hotel is also very central with plenty shopping and dining options.One minor thing to note was the cleaning staff closet is immediately beside the room and we could hear them coming back and forth. Other than that it was an excellent stay. Would highly recommend. Would stay again!
