    It's more like a 2.5 than a 3...

    rating03 May 2026

The Village in and Suites is well located, but could use some maintenance. Our room was large, with a kitchen, but the carpet is long overdue for a replacement and the bathroom needed a deep clean. the same goes for the furniture - it's been well used and it shows. Lighting could also use an upgrade. For the price - I'll try somewhere else next time - especially given I was overcharged for parking (which let them, now ) and I never received a refund - or a response. This hotel feels like the owners have made their money...and aren't interested in further investment or modernization. GIve it a swerve if you have other options. Paul Cooper, General Manager at Whistler Village Inn + Suites, responded to this review Hi ChrystaThank you for staying with us and for your comments. We do have renovations planned for 2027 and 2028 but in the meantime we do always try to present a clean and serviceable room for our guests to enjoy.I checked your folio and you were charged for two nights parking plus 4 fire logs, I will ensure a copy of the folio is forwarded to you for clarification. We do hope you will give us another chance to impress on your next visit to Whistler.

    Rustic

    rating21 Apr 2026

The front staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is super rustic very mountain inspired. The room was a bit weird, we walked in there was no bed we had to pull it down from inside a cupboard. The room was very dated some lights didn't work. It was clean and quiet, we were in a room near the pool area so I'm guessing in summer that would be noisy. Overall the place was rustic and warm but needs some updating especially for the price. We had plenty of parking it cost $36 cad a day. Very short walk to all shops etc. Paul Cooper, General Manager at Whistler Village Inn + Suites, responded to this review Hi VanessaThank you for your kind words regarding my staff, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming hotel in a friendly and welcoming village. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Whistler.

Convenient Location for Family Vacation in Whistler

    rating04 Jan 2026

Our family of 4 visited this hotel for a skiing weekend in Whistler. Pros: Central location in the village. Ski lockers on the ground floor makes getting going in the morning super fast. Spacious suites - our kids loved the dual twin sofa sleepers instead of one larger sleeper sofa, and we enjoyed the separate Queen loft. The kitchen was well appointed and made morning breakfast easier (has full oven, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher). Large indoor jacuzzi in one building and outdoor jacuzzi and pool in the other. Cons: The central location also means it can get a bit loud - crowds, early morning truck picking up snow, partiers despite the 10am quiet hours. The queen bed and pillows were not comfy. No breakfast or apres ski snacks like some hotels, but not a huge deal given the lower price compared to other central hotels. Overall cons not too bad for the price and location.

    Great location in Whistler

    rating28 Sept 2025

We enjoyed the location of the hotel which was very close to centre of Whistler but seemed quiet. It was very easy to walk into the town from where we were. We had a queen studio with a bedroom upstairs for three nights. Staircase is quite steep so be aware of this if mobility is a concern. We felt it would be a very tight space if four people were sharing. Bed was comfortable. Good secure parking although it seemed pricey at 35 dollars inc tax but it was good to park car and know secure as we did not use it again during our stay. Close to centre of whistler but a quiet spot. Staff very helpful when we arrived in resolving a misunderstanding about what we had booked. They were also flexible in booking extra night at the start of our stay as we adjusted our schedule due to the impact of the wildfires. Discount at the keg steakhouse which was next door was appreciated.

    Great mountain base!

    rating10 Sept 2025

Our family had an amazing stay at Whistler Village Inn & Suites! The location is unbeatable—steps from the lifts and village fun—yet cozy and quiet when we wanted to relax. The rooms were spacious for the kids, the pool was a big hit, and the staff treated us like family. Truly a perfect home base for making mountain memories!
