    We’re driving through Canada to get back to alaska, needed a room for the night for us and our 2 dogs. Woke up to our truck and camper trailer broken into, when we went to the manager and front desk they didn’t care and said there were no cameras where we parked? Basically told us to kick rocks. When we arrived we had asked 3 times to make sure it was ok to park where we were parking and they said yes. Not mentioning that a month ago, in this exact spot, the same thing happened to someone. All of our belongings are stolen and we are out of a truck window in 30 below weather. We advised you to go to the RCMP,The RCMP will come and request all views from the camera we have.

    I went for a business trip for Council of Yukon First Nations, whom paid for my stay at the Quality Inn in Whitehorse, Yukon. They put me in the dirtiest, stinkiest room that they most likely had. I know this because my last day there, the power went out in my room, so they put me in another room for me to get ready to leave and that room was somewhat okay. In my own opinion they gave me that room because it was being paid for by a First Nation Government. I asked for a new room when I seen it and they said no we don't have anymore rooms. When I complained to the manager, her name was Wendy, she wouldn't give me her last name. She was so rude to me, I can't understand why people like her are even employed, much less dealing with the public.I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel, ever, it's not even fit for an animal. So people DO NOT STAY AT HIS HOTEL!!! wendy reid, General Manager at Quality Inn & Suites, responded to this review Good Morning Carol,We are under hotel construction. We have two floors closed at this time.When you checked in, we provided you with a guest room. You then went to the front desk and asked for a different room.On that day we were fully booked. The front desk agent explained this to you. We also offered to move you to our other hotel. You denied and continuously accused the hotel of being discriminating. You stayed with us for 3 nights. On your last day, the power went out in your room. Our front desk lets you use another room to get ready. Once again you were verbally abusive to my front desk.When you called I tried to explain the situation at the hotel. Once you started discriminating against me, the conversation was over.I will not tolerate anyone being verbally abusive to my staff or me.

    Dingy and worn out

    The facility is tired and quite worn. It was clean, but everything is dated. Wall paper pulling away, chips in the paint, dingy lighting, spray insulation on the curtains, and dust clogged a/c. Really not up to Quality standards.     This was my "go to" place when traveling to Whitehorse from Skagway. The rooms are very nice but 2 are especially large. Comfortable bedding and hot showers, staff is amazing and friendly.     We booked here based on the published claim by this hotel that a "Shuttle is Provided" from the airport. The airport is 0.7 miles away, but too far to walk with suitcases. We double-checked when we reserved. But- NO Shuttle! We had to pay coming and going at $30 each way. We have had No answer from corporate, but have since read that others found issues with this lie. Also- the small restaurant onsite was closed. The power failure certainly wasn't the fault of the hotel.... but clearly, any reputable Business would have bent over backwards to try to rectify the $60 lost to Ubers by D-R-I-V-I-N-G us to the airport. Beware. The listing is still False even today.
