  Stayed here on a business trip as I had to attend a show at the Convention Centre. We parked in the parkade which is accessible by skywalk. This is a very modern hotel right downtown and across the street from Canada Life Centre. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with lots of lighting and tall windows. You need to slide your keycard into a slot near your door for your lights to work. My bed was very comfortable with wonderful pillows. The television was a good size and a nespresso machine was also in my room. The elevator is very quick. My room was immaculately clean and everything worked as it should. Once checked in you need your room key to both access the lobby from outside and also to use the elevator to reach your floor as the hotel is downtown. This hotel is rather pricey but is located very close to the home of the Winnipeg Jets and a short walk to the Convention Centre. There is no continental breakfast although there is a Tim Hortons and a Brown’s Social House on the street in the same building. There is no pool area but there is a small workout room.   Great, consistent hotel experience

  I stay here every time I come back to Winnipeg to visit family. (I've also stayed at Alt hotels in Toronto and St. John's.) The prices are competitive, and the quality of rooms and service are consistently great. The Winnipeg hotel is very well located, centrally; and there's parking at an attached garage that's reasonably priced. The staff have always been professional, courteous, and when I've needed an early check-in or late check-out, they've always tried to accommodate my schedule. (Sometimes they can't, of course, but they do try.) I recommend wholeheartedly.   Absolutely STELLAR experience with the Alt Hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff, particularly Baasit at the front desk (I hope I spelled his name correctly), were exceptional. He went above and beyond to help me with a particularly awkward arrival time and made sure the entire stay was a top experience. I plan to visit Winnipeg yearly, and will now absolutely book here every time.   First time staying at Alt Hotel Winnipeg. Went to watch a show at the Canada Life Centre with my husband and the hotel was just walking distance from the venue with a restaurant nearby. We stayed at their superior king room. Room was very spacious with microwave, nespresso machine and mini fridge. Their king bed, I guess, is the European standard size? Because for me, it’s is more like a queen size than a king but, otherwise, comfortable. The hotel is located in downtown Winnipeg. We could hear the sirens back and forth but did not bother us at all. We did not hear any noise from the other rooms or the hallway. The hotel cannot be accessed without a hotel card to swipe the front door, skywalk door and the elevator which is one of their safety feature. Downside, parking is not free.   Good location, but rooms inconsistent

  Great location if attending events at Canada life centre. We stayed this past weekend with another couple. Their room was fantastic, but unfortunately our room was kind of gross. Our room had a very musty smell, we notified staff but nothing was done to our knowledge.
