    Terrible Stay!

    rating23 May 2026

I had a terrible stay! My sister from Vancouver booked two nights May 19 and 20 th 2026. For her nursing reunion. A suite on 6th floor. The room was spacious but the coffee maker was broken. Requested a working coffee maker they said they would come up. Never did. The floors were dirty. And requested bedding for pull out couch. Brought up one sheet 1 pillow no blanket. Requested additional bedding. They the brought up a blanket no duvet cover. No more pillows. No assistance to make bed. When I tried to set up bed had to call for assistance and when opened bed was broken and was terrible sleep. I went down to wait for a ride people loitering in the lobby and out front security standing around not addressing drunk patrons. Very uncomfortable. Inside and outside. Would not recommend and would not book again. Service subpar and all they could say is we are sorry as they wrung through the credit card for $500 plus.

Adequate if you're need a night or 2 stay but not a vaca destination hotel.

    rating16 Apr 2026

Room was clean and all that however the noise every night was terrible. Not sure what security does however it sure isn't go around and tell parents that the hallways are not playgrounds. Almost forgot about the domestic the one night, screaming and yelling and hotel staff did nothing. Fortunately the air conditioner was old and loud but that helped cover up the sounds. If for some unknown reason I went back to Winnipeg for a vacation I would definitely select a more 'name brand' hotel to stay at. Be care, significant amount of homeless(?) individuals in the area however that's not the fault of the hotel just Winnipeg in general.

Would not stay here again, not safe, bad customer service

    rating03 Feb 2026

My young daughter & I stayed her January 2026 for 1 night. The hotel does not feel safe, especially for families with children or females on their own. Lots of drunk people (during the day), lots of fighting. We were coming down the elevator and the doors opened on one of the other floors to a man and a woman yelling at eachother, they got in the elevator & she began assulting him....my daughter was shoved back and almost hit....we exited the elevator before the doors closed and the security were standing there. I think they had told the man & woman to go down on the elevator to get out of the hallway but they should've accompanied them. We had plans that evening so left and came back later. Went to go down for a swim in the morning (the pool and waterslide were the main reason we booked here) and there was a sign that said the pool was closed. Asked the front desk when it would re-open and they said noon, our checkout time was 11am. I asked why we wouldn't be told it would be closed Wednesday morning for cleaning when I specifically told front desk when checking in that we would need pool bracelets as we would be swimming the next morning? Lastly, my daughter forgot something in the hotel room, I called the hotel that night and they said the janitorial manager would call me back in the morning and let me know if it was located. I called back later that day, same thing. I called back again a few days later and was promised by the customer service lady (Juliette) that she personally would look into this and would call me back...still nothing. All I would like is a return call to tell me if the item was found or not. This was booked through hotels.com, they spoke to the hotel directly regarding our concerns and still no responses. The only positive I can say is that the room and hotel were pretty clean and the front desk people were friendly while checking in.

    Desperately needs a refresh

    rating01 Jul 2025

This hotel is badly in need of updates. At $184/ night, it's very overpriced. The room (103) smelled like stinky feet! The carpet felt damp and sticky so we couldn't stand to go barefoot. On the plus side, staff were very friendly and tried their best to help with the odor which they were obviously aware of but unfortunately the hotel was busy so no room change was available, by the 3rd day we stopped asking. They put a fan in the room and we bought Febreeze, used the entire can, it didn't help much. Other members of our group were on the 2nd floor where the rooms were slightly better. Also a lot of noise on the first floor. Those carpets really need to go!

    Not worth the cost!

    rating25 Mar 2024

When entering the building it looks quite nice, staff are very polite but after that it is all down hill. Elevators are old and slow. We got off the elevator to strong weed smell filling the hallway. Room was clean but in need of updates. Went to take the kids to the pool where I was instantly turned off. Hot tub was full of mostly adults with a few kids sitting and vaping right in the open.. go to get the kids towels and there are none to be found that were weren’t on the floor or dry. The kids went to get in the pool and there is false eyelashes floating along with bandaides in the pool and on the floor. Someone walked out with an arm full of empty beer cans being held in a towel. Swimming in full clothing to young kids in underwear. The next evening hoping it was cleaned and quieter we tried again to find kids throwing articles from under slide into the pool while parents watched. Our room for two nights was a total of $497.63 and was not worth it at all. We won’t be back.
