    Adequate but barely just

    rating01 Jul 2017

Stayed for 2 nights while working in the area. Room was clean, bed was ok and the furniture functional. First stay in Calama so not a lot to compare it against but if you need WiFi for for work don't expect to get it done here. WiFi was sporadic at best and when it was working it was slow. Staff were friendly, had a restaurant but did n't eat there so unable to comment on quality of food. Free breakfast was mostly continental style.

    New and quiet

The hotel is new, clean, with comfortable rooms. The breakfast was good as well as the dinner that I had there. I had a good and quiet rest, maybe because my room was at the end of the corridor. Friendly staff

    Bland chain hotel

    rating01 Nov 2016

Stayed for 5 days while working in the area. Allocated a room directly in front of the elevators on the top floor and didn't think much of it until I tried to sleep at night. Seemed to be an endless procession of people coming out of the lifts and chatting at maximum volume for most of the night. On top of that, each time the elevator moves, there's a mechanical clicking noise that just about drove me crazy.Second (and future) nights were better due to an investment in earplugs!Aside from that, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was great - nice and firm.Meals in the restaurant were OK but nothing special. Same comments regarding the staff.

    Very good value for money

    rating09 Apr 2016

After a week in San Pedro de Atacama and Boliva, I chose to stay one night at Diego de Almagro hotel to take an early flight on the next day in Calama. After enduring the simplicity of accommodations in Bolivia Altiplano, this hotel was the perfect stop. The hotel is comfortable and, most importantly, good value for money.Decent dinner, but average service (despite being almost empty, waiters took a long time to take my order). Breakfast was excellent that I regret not having woken up earlier to enjoy it fully.Friendly staff at reception desk.About 6000 pesos to the airport.
