Location

    Located 2-3 km from the airport (literally down the road), the hotel is good if you arrive late or have an early flight. The room is basic and functional. The one we had showed signs of wear and tear, but was perfect for our 1 night before our early morning flight. Facilities include a restaurant, outdoor pool (not heated), parking, and gym.

    Very handily located for Calama Airport ( no shuttle, but Uber was only $5 ) Room was clean & quiet. Unfortunately despite not being able to drink the water, not even a small bottle of water was provided It was necessary to purchase through the hotel restaurant. Further, at the restaurant, the menu was only available to view via a QR code. There was not one paper copy to peruse. No phone no food my husband was told !

    I really don't know, where all these good reviews are coming from. It started that none of our credit cards were accepted at the reception, but 20 minutes before we paid with one of them at the restaurant. We booked a double room and only one towel is available in the room? Then I wanted to change money for the taxi, in case the driver can't give change back. The reception hasn't any money. They advised me to go to the restaurant / bar. Kindly asked them to change but they didn't understood.so I bought a drink to pay with the 10000clp, but they don't accept any cash. Which hotel doesn't accept cash? Only pluspoint is, that the hotel is just 4 minutes away from the airport.

    I stayed one night transferring to San Pedro for tours, Reception people do not speak English even though they were trying through translator to help me. At restaurant they did not even bother with me. Room was pleasant and roomy. Food at restaurant was tasty

    A comfortable mid-range hotel at a budget price

    Our expectations were not high - Calama is not exactly a tourist city, and we expected the hotel to be very plain and geared towards visiting workers, but it was very nice! Lots of spacious, comfortable public areas, and a comfortable, well-equipped room. Breakfast was good - eggs cooked to order - and dinner in the restaurant was fine, which meant we did not have to venture into the centre at night (although the city seems to have had a lot of money spent on it since we first visited in 2013). The location, on the edge of the city near the airport also meant meant that it was easy to find without having to navigate your way through the city - although slightly complicated on this occasion by nearby roadworks. The outdoor swimming pool looked nice, though we did not use it because of the high UV levels! The prices were very low for the quality provided. Secure parking on site.
