    Good location with plenty of shops and restaurants but unfortunately a friend staying in the same hotel had mushrooms growing out of the carpet yes ‘MUSHROOMS’. So from a cleanliness point of view a big fat zero.Management weren’t proactive, no porter to assist changing rooms.

    On our recent stay at the Courtyard Santiago Candes, we were in a terrible bind when our taxi driver did not show up for our 5:45 AM trip to the airport. Eric, who was working at the hotel’s entrance doors, jumped in to save the day. He helped bridge the language barrier we where having with the taxi dispatcher (via my phone messaging app), and he helped text the information needed to get another taxi headed our way. Without Eric, we would have missed our flight to Rapa Nui (Easter Island). We cannot thank him enough for his help. On our return through Santiago a few days later, we stayed at this Courtyard again. This time, we had the staff arrange our transportation to the airport! Lesson learned.

    We stayed in 3 different Marriott properties in our time in STGO. This one was the sleeper hit. Cheapest of the 3 and the best quality. Indoor pool was perfect, and self service laundry really saved us on our 2+ week trip to Chile. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were solid. Room was spacious and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. Proximity to the mall next store was great for buying snacks and souvenirs. (The pizza vending machine in the mall stole my money though, avoid!) This will definitely be our only Santiago Hotel going forward.
