Location

This city business hotel is located in the heart of Santiago's El Golf area: the most lively entertainment, dining and nightlife area in the city. This is the business and commercial area of Santiago, and it is only a few blocks away from the subway station and minutes from several well-known shopping malls. The main avenues, Vitacura, Apoquindo and Providencia, are near to the hotel, allowing easy and direct access to and from the airport (15 min), central Santiago (10 min), museums (10 min) and other cultural areas of the city.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in an 18-storey building with a lift and 168 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Very clean throughout. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Quiet at night. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

    There are no Holiday Inn Express hotels in the world which I find to be exciting, but considering the other hotels we have tried in Santiago, I thought this HIX was solid for its price range. The room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than many more expensive hotels in the city which was surprising. Normally I prefer full service hotels such as InterContinental next door where we can have larger rooms and even club lounge access, but for people on a budget who do not foresee spending much time in their room except for sleep, this hotel executes very well on what it is intended to be.

    We were there dealing with a passport issue and the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was great, the breakfast excellent, and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

    Great location. Jorosmary the manager did everything to make my stay amazing including a surprise birthday cake and song. She helped move us to a room with better air conditioning and the staff were amazing. The rooms were spotless. Next to great restraunts, parks and shopping mall as well as quick markets and drug stores

    The hotel is conveniently located and is acceptable for short stays beforr connecting in between flights. The rooms interior needs renovation. Minimum amenities : a shower cap and shampoo, body gel. The sink stopper is not movable thus I had to use the tub faucet everytime.. I removed the stopper and come back to find it in place every day for 8 days. Once white towels are now turned to grayish colour and not soft. The breakfast is acceptable. The menu cards in the restaurant are photocopied papers which are totally eırn out. The meals are average..Not the friendliest receptionists. There was a mistake for my check out day and when I said I will call the company responsable for correction the person in charge was very unwelcoming and I was pestered to leave the room.
