    The hotel is in a popular and safe area. The room was small but comfortable. It was quiet for being in a popular area. Breakfast was delicious, several options to try - eggs, meats, pastries, fruits, juices. The mall and lots of restaurant options were close by. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. I would stay here again.

    Reference: Penthouse 01, Room 901Stay: November 27 - December 05, 2024It is with a heavy heart that I write this negative review about an experience in my home country. Unfortunately, this was by far the most miserable and worst hotel experience I have ever had.From the start, the service was unacceptable. During check-in, the receptionist, Juan Carlos, who seemed to be in charge, was extremely rude and refused to explain the charges in USD. Having left Chile after finishing college, I am not familiar with the local currency. If this establishment claims to be an international hotel, such behavior is nonsensical. Furthermore, Juan Carlos appeared to treat the client ahead of me—who was from Spain and white—differently, which was unsettling.To make matters worse, I was not informed that the penthouse room I rented, supposedly the best they offer, required an iPad to control essential functions like the curtains, the TV in the second bedroom, and the central AC. The room was outdated and fell short of international standards.On the second day of my stay, I became sick and requested a blanket to be cleaned. I was assured it would be returned the next day, but it never arrived.The only positive aspect of my stay was the excellent customer service provided by Jeanette, who was polite and attentive.On the day of check-out, both Juan Carlos and another receptionist, Alfredo, provided an invoice but refused to explain the charges in USD (my primary currency). Their tone was aggressive and intimidating, which is unacceptable treatment, especially for a guest paying for their highest-tier room. This ordeal wasted 1.5 hours of my time—time I had planned to spend with my family before my departure.To add insult to injury, I spoke with the operations manager, who seemed more concerned about avoiding bad reviews than resolving my issues. I was promised an email follow-up, but it has been five days, and no email has arrived.Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was subpar. The closet had a dead mosquito, and the entire room was in desperate need of an update. It did not match the pictures advertised online.In conclusion, this hotel is far from meeting even one-star standards. The overall experience was disappointing and abusive, leaving me with memories I would rather forget.

    Don't stay at 45 by Director.

    Very disappointing experience. Booked through Hotels.com and arrived. Was given an iPad to operate the room, all in spanish, this inclueded a large blind that faces another building. The blind suddenly opened and given its a two storey room you can imagine the light that will come through the window. . The hotel is unhelpful only to say they don't have another penthouse room and cannot look at fixing it until tomorrow, if its fixable. There are other rooms available on their website. There is no consideration of their customer experience. We have not been told about breakfast or given the complementary bottle of wine, which the hotel says was not included, so Hotels.com must have made a mistake. Don't stay here as they don't have the ability to offer suggestions to resolve issues. Lest see how we sleep tonight with the light from an adjoining fire stairwell shining in all night.

    Booked for me as a stopover en route to Punta Arenas. Comfortable modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Standard room comfortable and quiet, perhaps a little small. Good Internet. A highlight of this hotel is that it has a particularly good restaurant! Convenient and easy walking distance to local shops etc

    It is frustrating when even at this property, which I have stayed at in the past, that housekeeping cannot be consistent on towels…even after a complaint at the front desk. It would be nice if they provided water in your room on a daily basis as well. Sadly, I will not return in the future.
